After Alex Harvey quit the band In the late 1970s Zal worked with Nazareth and as a session player touring with Elkie Brooks, Bonnie Tyler and Midge Ure.

Bought the brilliant Vol 1 purely due to the name and history of Zal. A fan of SAHB from the early '70s I was a smidgen surprised at how heavy and current it was. Two play-throughs only and it clicked entirely. Now waiting for Zal and the doggies to head out to somewhere close to Canberra. I'm 64 (just a boy composed to Zal I kniw) so I don't do too much travel. Come on down boys, I'll buy the beers and prawns 😁
Great interview thoroughly njoyed your conversation with Zal and tracks played. I have shared to various SAHBSTERS fan groups and Sin Dogs also on FB so hopefully you will get a few more listens. Very open and honest conversation with the legend who has now got a new lease of life and picking up a lot of new fans with his amazing new band. ✌️🎸🎤🥁🤘
