A good mattress.

Good, supporting shoes.

Eyeglasses.

[deleted]
[deleted]

Might I say Bluelight Eyeglasses. Since i got mines i dont get headaches anymore, my eyes don’t have any strain or get red at night and they look more white.

u/clubberin avatar

Yes. I got a pair of Gunnars for work and my headaches went to be half-as-frequent to irregular to gone, and eyestrain was reduced. I have a pair for home as well.

I wanted to get a fake pair of glasses for my toddler because she always tries stealing mine. And I learned blue light eyeglasses was a thing!

Exactly what i was going to say, minus the glasses but that is a good addition.

Shoes that will last are worth more than cheap shoes that you’ll have to keep replacing

Exactly this.

I'll never get people who think like this. Condoms protect you against getting pregnant, but also STDs. I'll always use a condom until I see a negative STD test.

It's bugs me when girls I'm in bed with get offended when I put a condom on "I ain't got any disease", no bitch, I don't want you getting pregnant

[deleted]
[deleted]

Anyone who is offended by condoms, men or women, isn't someone to be trusted.

Edited

Many people need a week or so of sex/fappin with them on to get used to them. Otherwise, they can't stay hard or feel all that much. Kinda similar thing as for people who are too used to porn.

Most never realize that they need this and that that's the reason why they hate them

If you don't, you're very lucky

Guess I'm an outlier. Got it done at 30, probably helped me meet my future wife several years later as it was clear were I stood on having children.

Preventative dental work!

I wanted to see how far down the list I’d go until I found a toothbrush. While this isn’t a toothbrush I’m still counting it.

Security cameras, good shoes and mattress

Hookers, trust me saving money on a cheap one is a mistake. Treat yourself.

Good coffee

Definitely not coffee is all about caffeine. Cheap coffee or caffeine pills is just fine.

Chromecast with google TV. Not that it's very expensive, but I didn't think I'd love it as much as I do.

Good tools. You can save a ton of money learning to do things correctly yourself

Rechargable flashlights. Trouble lamps. High-end screwdrivers (you will notice). First aid kit. Car blanket. Water bottle. Car charger. Toilet kit with toothbrush, comb, tissues, insect repellent, tick remover. Picnic set. Paper towels. In your car.

Vasectomy- be responsible!

Great shoes- so many health issues stem from bad support. Good shoes prevent back injuries.

Mattress-you spend at least 1/3 of your life in bed. Get the right mattress and your body will thank you over the years.

Toilet Paper- your butthole will appreciate it as will guests. I am proud to be known as the house with good toilet paper. Once a year a buy a roll of ok TP just to remind me how important it is.

Vasectomy. Best $200 I ever spent (after insurance).

Quality tools, a good axe, tent, backpack or rucksack, flashlight, trekking boots, a pair of Crocks, a good water container, proper universal healthcare, a camp knife and a craft knife, safe injection facilities, and most of all a good laptop.

Not only does good quality camping gear last for a long time, it’s usually lighter than cheap stuff, easier to set up or use, and a huge amount of brands have unreal warranty policies.

A healthy lifestyle

A premium economy seat on a long-haul flight.

Makeup - to a certain degree. Better quality eyeshadows tend to be pricier, but they need so much less effort to apply and blend. (I don't use foundation so I can't provide judgement on those products)

Dawn dish soap.

Decent bed all around. You spend a 1/3 of your life asleep, make it as comfy as possible so the 2/3s your awake don't suffer. Source: an otherwise cheap bastard

Bras, period products, razors and toothpaste. Pretty much everything in my bathroom.

Higher end products. It may cost a bit more money, but you save it not having to replace it more frequently.

Guitars

Kids. Watching them grow up into adults with their own minds, lives, and then families of their own is worth every penny. Spend extra, if and when you can, for memories that will last a lifetime.
