St. Thomas Aquinas High School Reviews
Rating 4.19 out of 5 745 reviews
Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in Fort Lauderdale is widely regarded as one of the best educational institutions in the area. Known for its exceptional academic programs, dedicated faculty, and strong sense of community, the school provides students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in college and beyond. The school's commitment to faith-based education sets it apart from other schools, instilling values of compassion, integrity, and service in its students. With a variety of extracurricular activities, sports teams, and clubs, Saint Thomas Aquinas offers a vibrant, supportive environment where students can thrive and grow as individuals.
Throughout my 4 years at St. Thomas Aquinas I have had a multitude of amazing experiences. This ranged from the after school activities such as STEM competitions, Chess matches, and football games, to tutoring and visiting other schools to aid them with whatever they needed. The teachers specifically my math teachers actually cared about teaching the material, and as a STEM student I highly appreciated learning my favorite subject from people who shared that passion.
Saint Thomas Aquinas is a special school. I did not realize this until I thought about what it would be like to not be here. To not have a beautiful outdoor campus, the teachers that I consider friends, the students whom all push themselves to achieve the most they can whether it is in academics, sports, or arts. Those are easily the high-points of Saint Thomas; the low points are a little harder to point out. As a student, of course I wish the uniform policy was less strict, and that I could just skip class sometimes. The only issue I would truly change would by the amount of food distributed during lunch. By the end of the last lunch, the cafeteria is almost empty, and options become limited. The best part about Saint Thomas is the cleanliness. The bathrooms, the classrooms, the lunchrooms are always clean and well lit truly making an unnoticed impact on many peoples days. I genuinely love learning here and have no qualms saying it is the best school in the state.
