'Kong: Skull Island' Release Date, News: Cast Answers a Few Questions About the Film
The people behind Warner Bros. Pictures' "Kong: Skull Island" has done an amazing job teasing audiences with bits and pieces of the story without giving away some of the key mysteries of the story. With two more days prior its release, some of its cast members have shed light on some commonly asked questions about the movie.
To indulge in answering some of the queries revolving around the film, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson took the time to give their thoughts as to what fans can expect. From where the story is set to what the film is about, a total of 10 videos were released to clarify certain points that will make viewers appreciate it more.
For starters, Hiddleston, who plays the role of Captain James Conrad, has explained that the movie is not a prequel, not a sequel, and definitely not a remake. "It's actually a completely new, original story that redefines the myth of Kong," he points out. Hiddleston further clarifies that the film tackles Kong's history and the mystery of the uncharted Skull Island. With a huge, talented cast, he teases that audiences are in for a wild ride.
Samuel L. Jackson, the headstrong Lieutenant Colonel Packard, says that the film takes place after the Vietnam War where Monarch's intelligence suggests the mythical Skull Island can be found somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. He assures everyone that the film can be watched by most audiences and that it spells a big adventure for everyone.
Meanwhile, Larson, who is known as the journalist Mason Weaver in the movie, is pointing out details that most fans already know yet she still takes the time to remind everyone. Larson says that the main story talks about a classified expedition issued by Monarch to proceed to Skull Island and find proof that monsters exist. She also says that Kong is as large as a mountain, and that fans will get to see him on March 10.
