Niche User: Living in Midland has been amazing. I went to elementary through high school in Midland and the school system there is unbeatable, the level of learning is very high and it prepared me for college. Also living in Midland you have so much to do, our biggest tourist attraction is the fridge which is on the Tittabawase river. The bridge connects the skate park and playground with downtown midland which is full of local businesses including my brothers clothing shop. There's a strong carpool community to University School if you prefer a private school for your children. However, most people work for Kohler Company, so that can be a downside if you don't.... Current Resident: It is a very small town that is mostly residential. Cave springs a coffee shop, gas station, Dollar General, and a GREAT italian restaurant. Current Resident: I love the safety and calm that Dunlap provides. Unlike Peoria, Dunlap does not constantly have sirens and it much more calm. I also like the sense of community that it brings. I enjoy being so close nit. Finally, I enjoy the sense of safety. Unlike when I lived in Peoria, I am not afraid to walk alone and often enjoy being outside by myself. Current Resident: Pittsboro is a small town with a little bit of charm but in close proximity to Indianapolis and its bigger suburbs. The town itself has decent amenities and small things to do. A couple restaurants downtown, a park with athletic fields, and pretty good housing market. Current Resident: We have lived here about a year and came from a very populated suburb in Ohio. S. Russell is "semi-rural"...so quiet, extremely safe, plenty of amenities close by, charming Chagrin Falls minutes away, and a fantastic, small school district. The only negatives would be lack of diversity and major chains are 25-30 minutes away. I found that the city council/board is very curious about residential attitudes, and they actually listen and vote the direction that the majority of residents wish. The police force is always present and have a positive impact on the community - the kids love them. I have no complaints - only positives about our experience here so far.... Read 8 reviews

Current Resident: I love how New Market is a smaller area and it is away from all the hustle and bustle of Huntsville. We have a lot of food options and shopping area for groceries and daily needs. New Market is also close to the Tennessee line which allows for more fun opportunities there. Current Resident: I’ve lived in bogart for over half my life and have always enjoyed it. I love the close community and small town rivalry that we have with the other school in our district. Things like the Christmas parade in downtown Watkinsville where you can see everyone you know and possibly be on a float or the homecoming parade where the whole town comes and hangs out around the bonfire, it has created core memories for me. As much as I’ve loved this town, however, I’ve always wished it was more walkable. Everything feels so spread out at times and what there is to do gets old after a little bit.
