Donald Alan Fish Jr., 70, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024.

Alan was born on Jan. 8, 1954, to loving parents, Donald Fish Sr. and Joann Wray Fish.

Alan was a graduate of Lake Charles High School of which he took pride as an alumni and looked forward to the annual reunions.  He also graduated from the University of Southwest Louisiana with a bachelor’s degree. During his time at USL, Alan joined Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and proudly continued to be a fraternity member throughout the years. In 1991, Alan would move from Louisiana to Florida. Alan later retired from working as a pharmaceutical representative.

Alan spent his free time playing poker, spending time with friends, entertaining, and cooking for those he loved. He will be remembered by those who love him for being a friend to everyone he meets and for his great sense of humor. Most importantly, he will be remembered as a caring and loving father.  He was a Christian of Presbyterian faith.

Alan is survived by his loving mother, Joann Fish; beloved daughters, Gail Fish (Wendell Jacinto Pereira) and Jill Fish; loving sister, Daphne Danahay (Mike) and her family, and the mother of his children, Jean Fish.

Alan is predeceased by his loving father, Donald Fish Sr.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2024 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.  Deacon Richard Donahoe will officiate.  Family and friends will visit in remembrance Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of services.  Interment services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Consolata Cemetery.
