Deleted Black Skin, White Masks and Concerning Violence by Frantz Fanon from the list. Both books are nonfiction, and Fanon was of Caribbean rather than African origin.

Please remove my children's book, CULLOO, # 119, from this list. It has absolutely no link to Africa and was added by mistake.
Thank you

Done.

Done.
Can a librarian please remove The Liquidator (#3) from the list? It seems too perfect that all 26 people who read the book voted on this list... and note the author's self-promotion above.

I could, but I'm not sure I should, as the description says "focus on those by authors of African origin", which doesn't necessarily exclude authors who are not of African origin... (and which is why I have added two fabulous books set in Africa, but by authors who are not of African origin, to be precise Mister Johnson and Een zondag aan het zwembad in Kigali/A Sunday at the Pool in Kigali).
As to the self-promotion of the author of The Liquidator, Iain Parke is the only one who can remove that message for you, I'm afraid. (Or maybe one of the superlibrarians can do it for you, I'm not sure).

The Liquidator (not African)
West With the Night (not fiction)
I am unsure of whether Roots can be classified as African, as opposed to African-American, and also about claimed nonfiction (though it turned out to be fiction) on a fiction list - but whoever voted for it had their reasons, I suppose.

I wouldn't classify Roots: The Saga of an American Family as 'African' fiction. Should anyone be in doubt, just look at the subtitle... I don't think it should be on this list, as it doesn't meet the criteria. Will you remove it or shall I?
