I celebrated my birthday here, so there was a multitude of bottles that were popped and booties that were dropped. Now that I have your attention, let me begin by saying Mirage is a very nice club by Baltimore standards. I appreciate the owners putting effort into the decor, the attention to detail is evident. Even after a few shots of "lemon drops" a sip or two or four of champagne and some other tasty libations I can't recall exactly how many, I was still able to stop and admire the entire place. The Mirage has Valet parking which is $20 I don't mind paying for the convenience, honestly I don't have time to find parking on a busy Saturday night downtown then hike it in 5inch heels to the club. Sorry that's not my "thing" but if you don't mind, there is a garage and parking lot in the vicinity.

My birthday just so happens to fall two days before Halloween. So this particular Saturday night was a Masquerade/Halloween party. The place had a really good crowd of 25 and older everyone was partied respectively. I rented a VIP section for the night, my only gripe with VIP is the waitress should be more attentive. Well then again I really can't be upset with her because it looked as if she was the only one working the entire club. So let me re phase, the club needs to staff maybe one or two more waitresses, that way there is service for each VIP area. I will say the club promoters for that night really did a good job with the added entertainment. I would talk about who and what the entertainment was but unfortunately this a PG and Not! R rated review ;-). When its all said and done my guests and I had a great time.

Continues to be the worst neighbor ever. Now with gunshots and shootings to add to the fun.

On the plus side, I've only had to call 911 twice in the last month after being woken up in the middle of the night by screaming women being pulled from cars by men beating them at closing time or gunshots coming from club goers.

Ooooooh boy.... Mirage.... That is EXACTLY what this place is - a mirage! I checked out the website and thought to my self "this place is nice!" - YEA OK! It's Baltimore, and the end of the day, its Baltimore, and that means its hood...

Surprisingly (really) I was over-dressed despite my short skirt... FAIL After a few drinks the place was more tolerable, but I don't plan on ever returning to this establishment... I'm just not a fan - I'll drive my lil' tail out to DC for my nights out...

I arrived to the club a little after midnight I was expecting a big crowd because of the time and because it was Christmas but knew I wouldn't have to wait because we had a table reserved. However I wasn't ready for this unorganized business. We pulled up to 3-4 Valet service guys on one car. Umm hello its plenty of other people here trying to valet as well... Who's getting out the car Kim K? Finally after about waiting for 10-15 minutes a valet guy approached the car told us leave it and gave us a ticket. Immediately when we get to the door it's chaotic. I am use to nightclubs having a regular line and a VIP line. They had two lines but wasn't utilizing them properly.

People were all over the place trying to get it. The bouncers had no control over the crowd. Them to make the crowd more angry they were yelling "No more people are allowed in". My boyfriend attempted to approach one of the bouncers and to tell him we had a table. He just said "Oh okay" and continued to entertain the crowd. My boyfriend approached him again and told him "We have a table reserved here can we get in?" the bouncer said "Hold on" and then went into the club. He came back out 5-7 minutes later and just avoided eye contact with us period. We tried to get this attention but we wouldn't look at us at all.

Just when we were about to say "Screw it" and head back to D.C a well dressed guy who might have been the owner walked passed with about 6 people following him saying they had a table as well. We got his attention and he said "Hold on, he will be back". By this time 30-35 minutes has passed in December weather so we are pissed! Finally about 10 minutes later he comes out and says "You sure you have a table here" we respond "Yes" so we follow him pass all the angry people in front of the club.

We get in and he grabs the cocktail waitress and she escort us to our table. Once there after all that they only have to liquors in this club!!!! Our choices were limited to Grey Goose (Ewww) or Ciroc (Regular) ... We took the plain ciroc which we hate. Every club I been to gave us a choice of Patron, Ciroc Redberry, Ciroc Peach, Ciroc Coconut or Regular Ciroc. DON'T GO HERE EXPECTING THAT! We also got a bottle of Moet Rose.
Everything listed above is why I only gave Mansion 3 stars. They have horrible customer service. However the club is beautiful and they attract a new crowd. Once I put their flaws to aside I actually had a good time. The go-go dancers were a nice touch. I love how the VIP area is setup and how you look down on the crowd. This place would've had been my Baltimore go to spot if their customer service wasn't so unprofessional.

This is definitely the best nightlife Baltimore has to offer, it even touches some D.C clubs. If you are in Baltimore give it a try if you have nothing else to do. But if you can take the 30 minute drive to D.C I definitely suggest that!

As you may or not night know, I have a love hate relationship going on with Downtown Baltimore. The combination of tourist, college kids, limited and over priced parking is just a bit too much for me to put up with for a night on the town. After much procrastination, I finally bit the bullet so I could find out what the hub-bub at Mirage Night Club was all about and the venue does not disappoint. The space provides a nice break from the typical converted rowhouse club layout you find in Baltimore and looks like its original use may have been a post office or bank. Graphic wall paper, leather couch seating, and gorgeous glass chandeliers help balance out the high ceiling and provide a nice mix of contemporary elegance. The ceiling gives the space a big open feel and good acoustics for live music. The VIP balcony is a slight upgrade from the traditional roped off dance floor tables that establishments like to pass off as VIP. However, I was a little underwhelmed with the alcohol selection. The club has no specialty drink list and definitely isn't a place for my wine connoisseurs but, the bartenders do a superb job of mixing up anything your little heart dream of. All in all, the venue lives up to the hype and is worth the trip downtown.

      Parking: Sucks!

Cover: Not sure what it is normally but it was $20 the night I went

      Drinks: 3 stars

Price: $$$ The martinis are a little pricey ($12) but they're worth it.

Good for: Dancing, out of towners, freakem girl dress or fresh to death night on the town, live music

Only like Saturday nights down there. The owners only care about able reservations. If you have a table, you don't have to follow any rules. Drinks are definitely overpriced and watered down. I think that's to promote bottle service. The two stars are 100% for the atmosphere. The best looking venue in the city. But my overall experience was a 1/2 Star. Will only go if someone I'm close with is having an event there.
