Join the fun. But do it right!

Are you a newcomer to Warzone? Read on..

If you’re just starting out your Warzone career, you’re going to want to find the best weapons and setups to give yourself a smooth experience and start racking up the kills and also ranking up. Making good use of your custom loadouts is a great way to start. With better weapons you’ll get more kills, which means more experience to level up and improve them. Bearing all that in mind, you should start with weapons which are a little bit more forgiving. You might find it difficult with a high fire rate or a lot of recoil. That is why I’ve composed a list of the best loadouts for beginners.

10. AUG SMG & 1911

MW AUG 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drum in Warzone Melts!

Start at 0:35

The AUG is a bit of a dark horse in Warzone. With AR and SMG variants, there are numerous ways to use it. The SMG boasts controlled fire, with increased accuracy using a scope. It’s also quite mobile with a better range than other subs. Ideal for beginners and advanced players once you get used to it.

  • AUG attachments: Monolithic Suppressor, 622mm Long Barrel, Integral 3.0x Optic, Stippled Grip Tape, 5.56 NATO 60-Round Drum
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Ghost, Amped
  • Equipment: Frag, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- Attachments boost the AUG’s damage, range and accuracy

- Perks make this ideal for close quarters/end-of-game action

9. HDR & 1911

HDR ASMR

One of the most powerful sniper rifles in the game, the HDR boasts incredible range and damage, and is readily available for newcomers. However, it has a slow rate of fire and so is only really useful to accurate players who can hit the target with almost every shot.

  • HDR attachments: Monolithic Suppressor, 26.9” HDR Pro, Variable Zoom Scope, FTAC Champion, Focus
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Ghost, Combat Scout
  • Equipment: Proximity Mine, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- Best attachment balance for HDR’s accuracy, damage, range and control

- Perfect loadout for long-range sniping and hiding from enemies

8. Kar98k & 1911

THIS IS WHY THE KAR98 IS THE BEST SNIPER IN WARZONE

Start at 7:40

The Kar98k, listed as a marksman rifle, is a better option than the HDR for newcomers looking to snipe. Much more mobile, this bolt-action rifle has incredible stopping power and reload speed. This makes it a lot more forgiving if you miss your first shot as you can simply try again almost right away! For this to work, though, you must apply a scope.

  • Kar98k attachments: Monolithic Suppressor, Singuard Custom 27.6”, Tac laser, Sniper Scope, FTAC Sport Comb
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Ghost, Combat Scout
  • Equipment: C4, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- Faster and more forgiving sniper class

- Combat Scout allows you to automatically mark targets for teammates

7. MP7 & Strela-P

this *NEW* MP7 CLASS is OVERPOWERED in WARZONE

Start at 8:25

The MP7 is one of the most accurate SMGs in the game. This makes it great for both short- and medium-range. With the correct attachments, it has almost no recoil, a decent rate of fire and good damage. The Strela-P is also one of the best launchers. With the option to free fire and lock on, this can cover you from range.

  • MP7 attachments: Monolithic Suppressor, FSS Recon, FORGE TAC Stalker, 60 Round Mag, Commando Foregrip
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Ghost, Tracker
  • Equipment: Semtex, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- Incredibly accurate

- Weapons cover you from enemies on foot and in vehicles!

6. M4A1 & Strela-P

the M4A1 is BROKEN IN SEASON 6

Start at 3:20

Assault rifles are the most popular class of weapon in Warzone. This is because they are effective at almost any range and much more versatile when it comes to attachments. They’re also the most competitive class with many different guns each showcasing their own strengths. One of the first assault rifles used in CoD titles is the M4A1. As a beginner, I strongly recommend you stick to this gun first, level it up and you’ll see what I mean.

  • M4A1 attachments: Monolithic Suppressor, Stock M16 Grenadier, VLK 3.0x Optic, 60 Round Mag, Commando Foregrip
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Ghost, Spotter
  • Equipment: Thermite Grenade, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- Accurate AR with improved range and more ammunition

- Well balanced loadout

- Suppressor and perks allow you to stay hidden.

5. Stoner 63 & Strela-P

"It's BETTER than EVERY AR!"

Start at 6:50

This is your heavy duty loadout. The Stoner is one of the best LMGs in the game. As an LMG, it has a great ammo capacity and excellent damage. Combined with the Strela launcher, you will be a force to be reckoned with! Just be aware that your movement will be slower..

  • Stoner 63 attachments: Agency Suppressor, 21.8” Task Force, Axial Arms 3x, Salvo 150 Rnd Fast Mag, Field Agent Grip
  • Perks: EOD, Ghost, Amped
  • Equipment: Frag, Smoke Grenade

Advantages:

- Improved reload speeds using attachment and perk, long with faster weapon swap

- Entire loadout boasts excellent damage against all types of enemies

4. MP5 (MW) & 1911

NEW MODERN WARFARE MP5! HIPFIRE BUILD! (WARZONE)

Start at 9:20

If you prefer your game to be all about speed - faster movement, faster reloading, faster ADS and good hip fire accuracy, the MP5 should be your weapon of choice. One of the most mobile guns in Warzone and an excellent selection of attachments. With this loadout, you have a big advantage at close range.

  • MP5 attachments: Monolithic Integral Suppressor, 5mW Laser, FTAC Collapsible, 45 Round Mags, Merc Foregrip
  • Perks: Double Time, High Alert, Amped
  • Equipment: Throwing Knife, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- Everything about this setup screams SPEED

- Perfect loadout for smaller map (Rebirth/final circles)

3. Kar98k & MP5 (MW)

the KAR98k w/ the MP5 is INSANE in WARZONE!

Start at 8:20

This loadout combines two of the guns we’ve seen already using the Overkill perk. Let’s be honest; if you’ve just started playing, you want good guns and lots of kills! This combination gives you a good balance of mobility and range.

  • Attachments: As above for both weapons
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Overkill, Amped
  • Equipment: C4, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- A marksman rifle and SMG combo sees you covered at short- and long-range

- Both weapons are incredibly mobile, and Amped further boosts weapon swap speed

2. M4A1 & MP7

M4A1 AND MP7 ARE AMAZING ON REBIRTH ISLAND!

Start at 1:30

One of the most accurate combinations of weapons out there. As we’ve seen before, both these guns are perfect for beginners and very easy to control and hit the target. A focus on automatic fire and short- to medium-range. This is your aggressive loadout, when you don’t want to stop firing!

  • Attachments: As above for both weapons
  • Perks: EOD, Overkill, Amped
  • Equipment: Thermite, Stun Grenade

Advantages:

- Aggressive setup with two automatic weapons. Excellent for short- and medium-range

- Both guns are incredibly accurate with little recoil

1. M4A1 & Kar98k

This M4 & Kar98k Loadout is UNDERRATED in WARZONE!

Start at 5:50

We’ve arrived at number one. The only real disadvantage of the previous loadout is a lack of long-range weaponry. The Kar has got you! Now, we have the perfect balance of automatic fire for short- and medium- range (in the M4A1) and long-range. Enjoy!

  • Kar98k Attachments: As above
  • M4A1 Attachments: Monolithic Suppressor, Stock M16 Grenadier, Fully Loaded, 60 Round Mag, Commando Foregrip
  • Perks: Cold Blooded, Overkill, Combat Scout
  • Equipment: Thermite, Heartbeat Sensor

Advantages:

- M4A1’s optic attachment replaced with Fully Loaded as we have the Kar

- Overall extremely well-balanced and easy-to-use loadout

That concludes my list of the ten best loadouts to use if you’re new to the game. Any time is a good time to start playing, but now is a great opportunity to practice and perfect before the new map arrives and a new season inevitably gets underway. Remember these are all suggestions and it’s important to experiment and find what suits you. Taking different loadouts at different stages of the game is useful, as you might need Ghost or shorter-range weapons later in the game.

Happy killing!
