Lufthansa ruins skiing trip

Lufthansa does not allow booking sport luggage until the ticket is purchased. As result you can lose money and be forced to buy another ticket, because "they dont have space" for skis and your only purpose of the trip is skiing. The ticket bought 3 months before the trip and request for skis was submitted immediately.

Rude flight attendants on the plane

Rude flight attendants on the plane. Food was terrible and very unhealthy. Lots of sugar. Luggage was delayed. 1 of 3 suitcases was delivered to us after 4 days. 2 suitcases was never delivered to us, but returned to our home. So called customer service desk was terrible and no help. They were also rude. Never flying with Lufthansa again.

Worst airline ever with the rudest…

Worst airline ever with the rudest flight attendants.
Yesterday we had our flight from Frankfurt to Heathrow (LH 0904) and a long hair, middle aged flight attendant was the rudest and most unfriendly attendant I have ever seen. I hope Lufthansa sees these reviews and tries to improve their service and flight attendants. Worst flight experience ever. Never going to fly with Lufthansa again!!!!

A Zero Rating Would Be Polite!

Firstly I only tend to write good reviews. If I'm polite and smile at people, they usually respond in the same way. Now to this shambles! I would love to have given a zero rating. Cancelled flights, lost luggage (with important medication in) and a total lack of empathy from the people making decisions, and this was all in 2023. I'm still waiting for fair compensation. I don't want the earth, just what I paid for and lost! I now use KLM. They are cheaper and offer a far better service.

Awful service at premium price.

The app doesn't allow me to do the check in. After 30 minutes waiting they tell me that, due to security reasons, they don't allow random passengers to do the check in online and they have to do it at the counter? Eh? After 1 hour I try again and it works.
The app sucks, the cost of flights increases every year... Unfortunately they have almost a monopoly situation in Munich.

Very disappointing Lufthansa

A 13 hour flight with a TV that is not working. Staff that were unhelpful and service very poor. Meals were terrible and seats felt really cramped. We had upgraded the seats to extra leg room and were very disappointed. Raised the complaint and offered no form of compensation on the flight or afterwards. Customer service for such a large company is poor.

The most incompetent customer service in EXISTANCE

I have never dealt with a more incompetent bunch of people in my life, including any of the budget airlines I've used before.

I will never, ever fly with them ever again. Their customer service is absolutely useless, outsourced, untrained, refuses to escalate situations to supervisors when needed and is just a hot mess.

Avoid like the plague!!

They wanted my credit card information on the phone

Terrible platform. Horrific Customer Service.
I made a booking and the payment took 5 hours to process. Then, it didn´t work, so they sent me an email asking me to call custromer service. I did, and they told me the only way to make the payment for my booking was by giving my card numbers to the person who was talking to me. There was no other way to make a payment.
I suggest to avoid them.

Flight was fine, but baggage handling was horrible

The flight itself was fine and on time. However, our baggage did not get transferred to our transfer flight and was therefore delayed by a day. The delay at the destination caused an extra fee for our taxi, which Lufthansa refuses to compensate. Additionally, my watch was stolen from my checked in baggage while in Lufthansa’s care. Because I wanted to make sure I just did not forget to bring it, it apparently took a day too long to report it, so they again do not take responsibility and provide no compensation. I will do my best to avoid this airline again, especially if I plan to bring checked in baggage.

Worst customer service I have ever seen

The worst costumer service I've seen in my life. After the date of your booking there is no longer any way to get assistance by phone or chat, forcing you to use a web form. This means that unless your issue is resolved immediately it might never get resolved. Their phone and chat operatives are like a wall set against you and flat out refuse to help you.

The worst part is that my issue could have easily been solved if someone had just agreed to listen to me, but they never did. Their forms don't even have a field for comments.

I have never seen such a lousy and less customer-friendly service. Absolutely shameful.

the rudest and most disgusting staff I…

the rudest and most disgusting people I have encountered in fly ing for over 25 years. How low can you go?

Story was that my luggage carry on was 9,5 kg 8kg is allowed and at the gate woman said I need to check in. I refused and said I would take things I bough in the airport where lady shouting I am not allowed to take them out as it too late to do that… shocking! Too late to take my shopping bag that I m allowed to carry separately. She then called another guy who was threatening to take me off plane and refused to show name tag or ID. At this time my nerves are damaged but this experience! Shame on you Lufthansa so employing and making your staff policemen with no manners or dignity. Will avoid at all costs to fly with you again

Service is not a part of this Company

As the rumour says, Lufthansa is a company where service is not part of the job description.

Today’s experience at the star alliance gold check-in at Frankfurt airport; the service seams completely non existent. The tone is hard and far from polite? Please, don’t hire rude people. Basically, my normal rule of not flying with Lufthansa was confirmed.

I will try to stick with SAS.

Top Airline

I’ve flown LH for several years and never had any problems. The cabin crew is kind and the pilots always perform good landings. Even if you fly Economy Class, you’re appreciated.

I was promised enough room for all my booking and when there wasn’t room and I wanted a different flight I couldn’t change anymore since I agreed to the terms- part of the term I agreed with was that there’s enough room
Further more one of the booking ended up in a different airport but since I agreed they don’t need to cover transportation
When I called to try to rebook they kept claiming there’s no manager and hung up on me

Never ever again will trust this…

Never ever again will trust this airline. I flew from Los Angeles to Paris yesterday with a stop in Munich my luggage never arrived in Paris I called 50 times the airline telling me maybe in three days I will get my luggage. Meanwhile I don’t have clothing nor my medicines The airline said it is out of their hands. WHAT? I spent over 10,000$ for this flight and they cannot help me get my luggage. My entire trip is ruined and they don’t care. No one seems to be able to help or is accountable. They are good at taking your money and basically their attitude after is Screw You

UA 8965 STR to FRA purser pour rien!

Was on UA 8965 STR to FRA when what looked and felt like water droplets started poring from the overhead. I first imagined it was condensation from the AC system but I was the only one getting wet so I figured it must be from a water container in the overhead compartment above me. The passenger across the aile even offered me some tissue. I pushed the call button but no flight attendant ever came. Someone could have been having a heart attack but nobody cared. Eventually the container ran out of water, it was all absorbed by my jacket and trousers! The purser was notified upon landing and matter factly said that since the fasten seat belt was on, no one would respond to that call button! End of story. Hope you enjoyed and next time I’ll bring some shower gel with me and take a second shower in my assigned seat I paid extra for even tho I am a Star Alliance Gold member for life and should be able to select a seat free of charge. Lufthansa your staff is useless and your airline should be kicked out of Star Alliance.

We were planning a trip to tour Israel…

We were planning a trip to tour Israel in March 2024. I called Lufthansa after our tour was canceled because of the war to see if we could get vouchers from them to use for a trip to Europe we were planning for the summer of 2024 to destinations we knew Lufthansa flew to. They said that since the flight hasn't been canceled, they couldn't do anything. I kept calling to see if there was anything they could do to get us vouchers and I kept getting the same answer. After about a month of that, I noticed that I couldn't access our booking number. They no longer recognized our booking number, our ticket numbers, or our names. It was as if we had never made the reservations! Then we got a "credit" on our credit card for taxes, and other fees for a tenth of the full ticket amounts. When I called them they said that they had given us a refund and that was it. The flight was finally canceled and others on our tour received full refunds from Lufthansa, but not us. We ended up filing a dispute with our credit card company and won and now have received the full refund. They could have kept our money if they had given us vouchers when I first requested it, but instead we went with another airline and we will NEVER us Lufthansa again! Very bad customer relations!

Terrible service

First off, I wish I had checked reviews before booking this airline. Bit of advice: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Flights are always delayed, gates are switched in the last minute and for the money, Lufthansa is a boring joke.
