Tynion, Cloonan, Ennis Bunn & More: The Top Names in Horror Comics Launch New Anthology HELLO DARKNESS

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A new horror anthology from Boom! Studios, Hello Darkness, will bring together some of the biggest names in horror comics. Some of the creators will include James Tynion IV, Becky Cloonan, Garth Ennis, and Cullen Bunn, among others. This anthology will also feature a new Something is Killing the Children story, which will be released across several issues.

Additional creators included within Hello Darkness are: Francesco Francavilla, Werther Dell'Edera, Brian Azzarello, Vanesa R. Del Rey, John Arcudi, Ryan Sook, Sas Milledge, Sarah Gailey, Liana Kangas, Marguerite Bennett, Michael Conrad, Martin Morazzo, Andy Lanning, Trevor Hairsine, Steve Orlando, Genevieve Valentine, Jude Ellison S. Doyle, Letizia Cadonici, Sarah Andersen, and others.

Scheduled to begin in July, this horror anthology will have a new Something is Killing the Children story that will span the first six issues. Within the first seven, there will be a serialized story from Garth Ennis and Becky Cloonan. According to Boom! Studios, "Everything from primal fears to modern political horrors will be explored in the classic style of Creepy and Eerie and the Contemporary Chills of Black Mirror.

Hello Darkness Delivers Stories From All-Star Creative Partnerships Hello Darkness' creators revealed their thoughts on the upcoming comic anthology. R.L. Stine says, "This brings me back to Tales from the Crypt and the other horror comics I devoured as a kid.
