Kesari Movie Audience Review: Fans salute the valour of Akshay Kumar & his battalion in this epic untold story
Akshay Kumar treated his fans with an epic tale of valour and sacrifice with Kesari on the festival of Holi. Kesari starring Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh is based on the epic Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th regiment fought valiantly against a massive army of 10,000 Afghans. The Afghans were fully determined and convinced of their victory but Akshay Kumar’s battalion made it difficult for them to get into the fortress. The movie released today and the fans reaction speaks volumes.
Helmed by Anurag Singh, Kesari’s trailer left everyone spellbound with the courage and valour portrayed by Akshay in it. Akshay and Parineeti had been busy promoting the film from the past few days. They started with a tour of Gujarat and then moved on to Chandigarh and finally came to Delhi. Akshay also dedicated Kesari to Bharat Ke Veer which is committed to make lives better for the families of the fallen heroes.
The movie released this morning and the fan reactions on Twitter are surely giving applause to Akshay’s portrayal of the brave Ishar Singh. Many have lauded the action-packed stunts and have also appreciated the camaraderie between the 21 Sikh soldiers. Parineeti Chopra’s performance as Akshay’s wife in the film has also received a thumbs up from the fans. Twitter has been flooding with praises for Akshay’s look as a Sikh soldier in the film and fans can’t stop raving about the stunts performed by him. All in all, Kesari has left the audiences bowing down to this epic historical chapter of the culture which was untold to everyone.

#Kesari: Such films need directors who can pull off the massive action sequences while holding the emotional quotient intact. Anurag Singh misses a few tricks & could've handled the supporting cast a lot better. At bottom line, it is purely the stunt work that makes it worthy.
