    Wonderful experience.
Amazing exhibit. We went on the "Beatles Friday", in August. The "Mechanics" played an outstanding two hour Beatles tribute. They were awesome. Advise you prepay for tickets online to get in faster, or show up around 10-11am for the best parking and quick entry. We stayed from 10am-5pm. Rockin' good time. Wonderful crowd. All around great experience.

    Definitely worth a visit
Both my wife and I wanted to check out the hall of fame although to be honest my expectations were not very high. We were both very pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed our visit. The lower floor exhibits are full of memorabilia from all eras and we learned something new about the origins of rock and roll. There is truly something for everyone here and the featured artists are from across the decades. We spent about 2 hours and that was adequate time to see what we wanted to see. One could certainly spend longer as there is quite a bit to see. We would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

    So worth the lifelong dream!
What can I say that hasn't been said already? It was a lifelong dream come true for me, and it didn't disappoint. Don't go on game day, it's right next door to the football stadium. We parked at the Science Center Parking Garage and it was easily within walking distance. There are numerous picture opportunities outside, and around back. Like others, I was not impressed with some of the exhibits (hip hop and rap? IT'S NOT ROCK AND ROLL). I understand they have to rotate their exhibits, but I hated that we didn't see anything for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, as they were the main reason I wanted to go. Elton John, The Doors, Prince, etc, had very small exhibits (2-7 pieces), where Taylor Swift had numerous pieces. Gag. There were a good handful of pieces we skipped (Billie Eilish does NOT belong next to Jimi and Janis. She doesn't belong there at all!). Don't skip any floors or videos, and do NOT miss the concert experience in the closed room. We didn't eat at the Cafe (who wants a tomato basil grilled cheese. Give me a cheeseburger). The prices were outrageous, as were the prices in the gift shop. But you have to buy something in there, it's a sin not to. We will be back someday, to see new exhibits.

Never to old to love Rock and Roll
This was my 4th trip the RRHF. I would recommend it to anyone that loves the history of different genres of music. They continually update the exhibits, so going back is always a new adventure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food there was amazing too. A very pleasant surprise.

What a cool place to visit
We called in for a visit, not knowing if it was worth it. We had a great time and stayed 3hrs. So much to see, it was far better than expected. The food was really good too. Well worth the visit

    Family visit
Excited to check this off my bucket list! Wish the place was not so confusing. The way everything is displayed makes no sense. Cases of different artists memorabilia just crammed together with no order to it. Would really liked to see it start with the first inducted class plaques & their memorabilia right next their plaque & continue on like that with all the rest of the years. We enjoyed all the displays & history, just wish it was in some type of order that celebrated the artist accomplishments. Loved the floor with all the instruments. The garage band area is so cool, some very talented people there the day we visited.

    So much to see!
This museum was too much to absorb in the 2 hours we had time for. We should have planned way more time. This is a great place to relive your past and learn about music and artists you may not have known about. Great collection, movies and broadcasts. We loved it, it was worth the money.

    Definitely worth seeing
It has been 5 to 6 years since we visited here. I was not able to enter the actual date. We went as everyone should see this place. There are personal items from many rock icons both past and present. Things like Bob Marley's hat, John Lennon's organ, Elton John's jump suit and many, many more things. It is on a number of different levels. I found the set up a bit confusing, and happy Hazzard. It appeared that things were not put in cases by group but just sort of put in the cases in any old way. It would have been, at least in my opinion, a better experience, for example, if they put all the Beatles items together and all Elton John items together. It just appeared a bit jumbled. This is only my opinion and take it for what it is worth. Our kids were a bit younger then and were bored until they got to the "what makes music" room. Here they got to play drums, keyboards, guitar etc. this, they thought was great. We were happy they had fun.

    Visit the place!
Worth a visit. the name says it all. If you're even a sorta sometime fan, it's worthwhile if you're in the area. Architecture in unique, lots of stairs, but fun. Acoustics are good, places to sit and listen and rest, short films, historic doodads, etc. Very well done.

It’s not only Rock and Roll.
The RRHF has a bit of something for everyone, which I see as something of a fault. There are exhibits of Country, Gospel, Pop, Rap/Hip Hop, Folk, Artists. Fine if you are in the Cleveland Music Hall of Fame, but I’ll bet close to half the content is not strictly’R&R’. Disappointing . On the flip side ( lol), the R&R material itself is very interesting, sometimes jaw-dropping. Let’s hope they refine their focus in their new, upcoming, expansion.

Some constructing of new exhibits going on. Lots of roped off areas due to covid, like the Garage to play instruments and the theatres. Food pricey, but good. We each bought a solo membership in February 2020 just before Countrywide lockdown. We were so excited.Well the Rock Hall also closed for about a month around Christmas. I asked them if they would extend my Families memberships a month longer to make up for the lost time, and they said no. Because they consider it a donation. So think twice before you buy a membership.

So cool to see the artifacts of music history. It ranges from classic blues to rock to rap. Original notes from artists in their handwriting.

The only downside was the outrageous ticket and food prices. $9 for a kid's cheese quesadilla, couldn't even add onions and peppers because it came premade.

I went here somewhat reluctantly due to previous comments from friends that had been there years ago. My wife and I took our 19 year old son (who was the one who wanted to go most of all) on a Tuesday morning. We happened to get there right after they had just unveiled the new Woodstock stage exhibit. Pretty cool.

The Play It Loud exhibit is worth the price of admission alone. So many iconic pieces of rock history on display, including guitars from my favorite guitarist Eddie Van Halen.

As a footnote, most of the items on display are behind plexiglass but it is so clear you almost feel like you can touch the item on display and it allows for great pictures.

I think with all of the restrictions due to the COVID 19 situation that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame staff are doing a great job.

Access was limited and we had a quick health screening before entering but the staff was great helping guide us where to go. Again given the circumstances I thought everyone was professional and courteous.

The Hall of Fame is an awesome experience and we highly recommend it.

From the architecture of the building by I.M. Pei (did the glass pyramid at the Louvre as well) to the displays, this is a must see on your next stop in Cleveland.

If you live in NEO, take a day and go.
I was back visiting the area and my buddy had not been, so he took the day off work and came with me.

The exhibits are phenomenal, If you just go to see and not read, you can get through in about 2 hours or so. I stopped and read most of the provenance about the exhibits, and it took about 4 hours to hit the main level.

The gift shop is huge. This is one of the places if you visit that it is worth getting a souvenir from. It is an attraction and items are prices accordingly.

I grabbed a 1/4 lb hot dog on a toasted bun from a food truck parked out front (always there ) for $6

We purchased our tickets online and went to The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame when it opened on a Monday morning. We did the lower floor first. There were lots of stage costumes, guitars, recordings and photos as well as printed information about the performers. At 11:30 we went up to the snack bar ahead of the lunch crowd. In the afternoon we went to the upper floors and took in all of the exhibits and a very loud filmed musical presentation in a theater. All in all everything was very interesting especially since we remembered seeing most of the people in the Hall Of Fame on television or even a few of them in person. The only downside was the huge crowd and difficulty getting close to some of the exhibits.

HOF itself was great. Some areas "not open due to COVID", but we were in line elbow to elbow and then once inside, there were 30 people crammed in like cattle. It did not seem there were any actual measures taken to ensure social distancing. People took their masks off once inside and were within a foot of others. I didn't see any staff around to assist. The gift shop was, of course, open. The displays, artifacts and general experience was great though.

First, I want to compliment the staff and security. They were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Security helped us unload and load a mobility scooter from our car, gave us a tip for parking(street parking is closest). Change machines for meter inside the front door of museum. In my opinion the museum layout is odd. You enter, then have to go to the lower level for purchase of tickets and this level is the entry to the exhibits. You are not given a floor map, so we never knew exactly where we were. A floor map of each floor would have greatly enhanced our visit.
We visited on a Monday and no crowds at all.
We were particularly interested in the early years of Rock and Roll and were disappointed with the small amount of attention to that era. If you like The Beatles forward, you will find lots to see.
Over all a fun day. Congratulations to this Cleveland facility for their friendly, knowledgeable staff.

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about this place. What an experience! We arrived early, stayed late and enjoyed every minute. Lots to see and do so don’t rush through it. Savor every moment and enjoy. Wonderful place for any age but younger children may be a bit bored with anything that’s not interactive; they aren’t old enough to truly appreciate rock and roll’s past history. Prices are a little high but discounts can be gotten if you seek them out before you go. Parking can be found at meters on the street but my husband and I got tired of looking so we opted to park at a science center lot next door. If you get your parking ticket validated at the HOF you get a $2.00 parking discount. Long live rock and roll!

I hate being a negative nelly, but my 3 star rating for the price is being generous. I thought it was expensive for what it offered. It does cover a fairly broad range of material and artists, but I thought it could have.....been a bit better somehow. Maybe more artifacts, less reading..? I never felt the Smithsonians were too much reading, it’s hard to put my finger on it.

I think maybe to someone from 50-70 in age there would have been less that was unfamiliar, maybe more of a nostalgic effect. There was a John Mellencamp exhibit at the time I went which was well done. My favorite band is REO Speedwagon and I am a lover of Orbison and Elvis(the Elvis portion at the beginning was probably my favorite part!) so it’s not that I’m all about the current music scene and couldn’t relate to the content. I’m actually pretty behind the times overall.

I just wish it was a little cheaper for what it had. This was Aug 2017. It was a modern facility, by all means. But I’m sure the price has gone up since that time. Has it added anything since? If not , I would be hard pressed to pay it again. $15 wouldn’t make me think about it as much. If money is no issue however, you might as well go if you are in Cleveland and have no time constraints either.

I got lucky with the parking relatively close. Go early.
