Emily and Kobe

Emily and Kobe pose together in the studio in Salina, Kansas, as seen on 90 Day Fiancé.

Emily, 29, is from Salina, Kansas, while Kobe, 34, is from Cameroon. The couple met while out clubbing in Xi'an, China, where Emily was teaching English. Very soon after, they got engaged—and found out they were expecting a child together! Emily returned to Kansas thinking Kobe's K-1 visa would come through quickly, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed the process by at least two years. Now, Emily has given birth to their son, Koban—whom Kobe hasn't even met in person yet! They're ready to be a family, all together in one place—but right now, they're at the mercy of the K-1.

Ari and Bini

You may remember Ari, 30, and Bini, 31, from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. They've been featured on the show for a few seasons now. Ari—originally from Princeton, NJ—met Bini (a.k.a. "Baby") in Ethiopia while crossing the street. After finding out she was pregnant, she moved to Ethiopia to be with him and together they welcomed their son, Avi. In the most recent season, Avi needed surgery, so Ari took him back to the United States for healthcare, but Bini unfortunately had to stay behind. Since Bini hasn't come to the U.S. yet, the couple still hasn't tied the knot. But this season, we should expect them to move forward with wedding plans, giving it one more try as a couple in America. Although, there's an awful lot—traditions, religion, family members, Bini's past—that could get in the way.

Kara and Guillermo

Kara, 29, is from Charlottesville, Virginia and Guillermo, 23, is from Venezuela. They met in Venezuela while Kara was on a work trip; after she returned home, they stayed in touch for a bit, but then Kara was relocated to the Dominican Republic for work. Upon arriving, she moved in with Guillermo and got engaged, but the pandemic brought her back to Virginia—among her skeptical friends and family. Kara and Guillermo haven't been in the same physical space for nine months now, but Guillermo's K-1 is finally approved and he's coming to Charlottesville!

Bilal and Shaeeda

Bilal, 42, is from Kansas City, Missouri, while Shaeeda, 37, is from Trinidad and Tobago. The couple met online and chatted for a few months before actually meeting in person. After spending one week together, Bilal got down on one knee! Of course, there are a few things they have to sort out before their special day—like, Bilal being a divorced father of two and wanting her to sign a prenup. With so many differences between them, will they make it down the aisle?

Jibri and Miona

TLC

Jibri, 28, is from Rapid City, South Dakota, while Miona, 23, is from Serbia. Their meet-cute is too good: Jibri picked Miona out of the crowd while his band was playing a concert in North Serbia. They've been together ever since, traveling the world, and Jibri even proposed during one of their vacations. Now, Miona's ready to head to the U.S., envisioning her best life in L.A., but Jibri is back in South Dakota. Will Miona's dreams of city life bring them both to the Golden State? Or will their whirlwind relationship prove to be too much for one small town to handle?

Next up, there's Yvette, 48, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mohamed, 25, from Egypt. Despite their 23-year age gap, these two are intent on being together after Mohamed casually slid into Yvette's DMs. Yvette went to Egypt to meet Mohamed in person and they quickly became engaged. The couple has to navigate some very different cultural norms as well as introduce Mohamed to Yvette's 12-year-old son with special needs—whom Mohamed is closer in age to!

Patrick and Thaís

Lastly, there's Patrick, 31, from Austin, Texas, and Thaís, 25, from Brazil. The couple met while Patrick was in Brazil, reconnecting with family. While searching for a Portuguese teacher (on dating apps), these two connected. But their tutor-student relationship quickly escalated! A few more trips to Brazil later and Patrick eventually proposed. Now, the couple is planning to move back to the States together but they've got a few things to figure out: Will Patrick be able to give Thaís the extravagant lifestyle she's used to? And how does Patrick's first divorce come into the mix?

Is there a 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 trailer?

The first trailer for 90 Day: Season 9 recently debuted and it's jam-packed. We get a snippet of Bini landing in New York and the rest of the couples meeting at the airport, too. Fans also see Guillermo getting a bit edgy about Kara's past infidelities, Emily and Kobe taking a pregnancy test, and an epic wine-throw straight in Ari's face that will undoubtedly go down in 90 Day history.

What will happen in 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 and are there any spoilers?

The Season 9 couples have whole lot to navigate: cultural shock, religious differences, babies, parenthood and so much more. But will each couple make it to the altar or will it all be too much to handle? Here's what we know in terms of spoilers...

According to Instagram, Emily and Kobe appear to be very much together. (And in the trailer, we see them take a pregnancy test!)

When it comes to Guillermo and Kara, things appear a whole lot rockier. In one scene from the trailer, Guillermo gets heated talking about his fiancée's past relationships in which, apparently, she cheated. "We're getting married in two days," he says—to which Kara responds, "I mean, are we?" Guillermo replies, "You tell me."

Lastly, it's confirmed that Ari and Bini actually did make it down the aisle. Despite all the drama shown in the Season 9 trailer, Instagram and Reddit both appear to confirm that the couple tied the knot sometime in December 2021. Both photos have since been deleted but apparently showed Bini in a gold tuxedo jacket at the altar and Ariela's brother, Brad, holding baby Avi, who was wearing a mini tux.
