No need to repeat what has already been said - Dave deserves to be playing to larger crowds as having lived in the city for several years, he is highly knowledgeable and makes the tour genuinely enjoyable. One of the highlights for me was the old farmer's market - a bit like Borough Market in London, but a whole load cheaper! The tour lasts around 3 and a half hours making it exceptional value for money - especially as there were only five of us. An excellent start to the weekend!
Went on this tour after reading the great views on the tour from other members of tripadvisor.By it was a real treat. Dave was our guide for the tour, We laughed from start to finish. Tour lasted about 3.5 hours weather was great, Group of about 10 of us. Could have listined to Dave all day. Its a no brainer really, If i had not been flying home the following day my miss and I would have gone again. 12 euro a head you cant go wrong.
I stumbled across Jo standing with a sign near the tourism building... It must have been fate as I had no iidea what I was going to do for the day. What a perfect alternative to trying to figure it out all by myself. It was absolutely gorgeous today, sunny brisk and beautiful. The tour was slightly fast paced at least for my short leggs... lasted about 4 hours and kept me interested every step of the way.. so interested I forgot my feet hurt since I didn't have walking shoes on.
This is a great tour. Frankfurt is the perfect city to see on foot and Dave provides an informative, comprehensive and witty commentary. So glad we decided to take the tour.
This tour really makes you feel like you're getting to know Frankfurt, which can otherwise seem a little bland and soulless. But Dave's abundant knowledge, entertaining presentation, and enthusiasm really make you appreciate the place in a way you wouldn't if you were just walking around with a guidebook. It was by far the highlight of our brief stay in Frankfurt.
