Bucks Co. Reports 2 Coronavirus Cases

Two people in Bucks County have tested positive for coronavirus, officials confirmed late Tuesday.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Two people in Bucks County have tested presumptively positive for the new coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.

Both cases are adults who reside in the same home, according to information from the county. They are in isolation at their home with mild symptoms. Their location was not released.

Both had attended an out-of-state gathering, where they came into contact with two other people who later tested presumptively positive for coronavirus, county officials said.

They were tested by the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s laboratory in Exton on Tuesday. The results were reported later that day to the Bucks County Health Department.

The Bucks County positives bring Pennsylvania’s total of presumptive positive cases of coronavirus to 14.

Eight are from Montgomery County, two are from Bucks County, and one each from Delaware, Monroe, Philadelphia and Wayne counties.

No coronavirus-related deaths in Pennsylvania have been reported. One patient from Montgomery County is in critical condition. One New Jersey resident has died from the virus, officials said Tuesday.
