Starbucks Starbucks Barista Review
Not very supportive or understanding
Starbucks Barista (Former Employee) - Multiple Locations - June 23, 2022
Obviously there are parts of the job that are super fun and the parts that are annoying like crabby customers. But honestly, I worked at multiple locations and I could not seem to find a management team who knew how to run things. Scheduling conflicts/requests are rarely listened to, there was so sympathy or help whenever I was sick, in fact I was expected to come to work anyway or I would be ostracized by my manager and my shift leads. There were just a lot of things wrong, things getting covered up and obviously favoritism. Overall I learned a lot over my time at Starbucks but I'm not sure I'd ever go back.

Fun work environment; Bad Management
Barista (Former Employee) - Venice, FL - October 15, 2023
The benefits at the company are great and you have so much fun with co-workers. When it’s busy it’s stressful and kind of chaotic. Pay hourly was great and tips were okay as well. In my case I felt they wrote me up for things I didn't do which resulted in my “Separation from the company.”

Low hours
Barista (Former Employee) - Fort Collins, CO - October 15, 2023
Can't afford to live off of 20hrs a week. Fast paced environment with not enough people to run drive through, pick up and in house orders. Tipping is not as good as you would either.
