Buffy was the name of a CLE-004 window cleaning droid[1] that worked on the planet Coruscant with[3] the INS-444 Mick.[1] The two droids replaced the bedroom window of Senator Padmé Amidala's apartment after the original window was destroyed through the actions of Zam Wesell's assassin droid and Obi-Wan Kenobi.[3]

Buffy's name is written in Aurebesh on the droid's body, although the writing is too small to read on-screen.[4]

Star Wars: Build Your Own R2-D2 38 (Droid Directory: Service droids) establishes that CLE-004 window cleaning droids are repair droids built by Publitechnic. As Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones establishes Buffy is a CLE-004, it must be the same.
