E-PARKING

The application is part of the information system about the occupancy of parking spaces in the paid parking zone in Rzeszów.
Information about vacancies is generated on the basis of data transmitted by cameras, which constantly check the filling of parking lots.
The application has been prepared to support users in the search for free parking spaces and to present individual free parking spaces in the area of ​​the selected parking lot in the final stage of the journey. The application uses the navigation provided by the Google Maps application.
The application makes it easy for the user to search for free parking spaces. You can easily find a free parking lot on the map displayed by the application. After starting, the application first shows the sum of free parking spaces in the whole of Rzeszów, and after appropriate zoom, it will present individual parking lots and free spaces on them. You can search for a car park manually by browsing the map or use the easy-to-use street search engine. To facilitate the search, you do not need to enter the city name, it has been configured to search only in Rzeszów. The parking zones are marked with colors, and by selecting the parking lot, you are informed about the cost of parking in the selected parking lot. The colors we use are described in the legend that you can start by clicking on the appropriate icon.
By appropriate selection of data filtering, you can also search for parking spaces intended only for disabled people.
By selecting the selected parking lot, you can start the navigation process which will take you to the Google Maps application. While navigating, the system constantly verifies whether the parking lot you have selected has any free spaces. If it turns out that all the places have been taken, the application will inform you about it and propose you to choose a new place near the previously selected parking lot.
When you get close to the selected parking lot, the application will start its own navigation, which will present the parking lot and mark the free parking spaces with appropriate colors.
After parking, using the application, you can pay for parking by selecting one of the payment operators provided.
In the menu, apart from fees, you will also find functions that will allow you to:
- start the countdown of the parking time;
- send a report to the operator informing about the inconvenience or dangers related to the parking zone.
