Full job description

Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Summer/Fall Trainee position is from May/June through December 13th and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for recent graduates or entry-level talent interested in jump-starting their career in a particular field. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Our team supports the Game Shows Division. We work on Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! and any other property currently in development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our trainee will assist the Social & Digital team in all aspects of bringing social and digital content to life, as well as oversee small creative projects and really learn the digital ropes. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Aiding in the daily responsibilities of social promotion, including planning/calendaring, copywriting and posting
  • Working with team to pitch ideas and concepts for fresh social and digital content
  • Identifying new creative and platform opportunities
  • Concepting and/or managing small creative projects
  • Social/digital asset management and organization
  • Researching for various team projects
  • Working with the team to evaluate social and digital content for performance

Our trainee will have the opportunity to be on set at the shows and play a vital role in promoting both shows.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Passion for TV and game shows, social media and digital marketing. A burgeoning content creator with an interest in building compelling and innovative content for brands.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with a Mac and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud are a plus.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
