I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the newly appointed Principal of Askew Elementary School. It is with great enthusiasm that I join this incredible school community, and I cannot wait to embark on this journey with all of you.

As Principal, my goal is to create early awareness, knowledge, and skills that lay the foundation for the academic rigor and social development necessary for college and career readiness in the 21st century.

In pursuit of this goal, I will prioritize:

• Academic Excellence: We will provide rigorous and engaging lessons for all students (bilingual, special needs, traditional, and Vanguard) that promote listening, speaking, reading, and writing in every classroom, every day. 

• Whole Child Development: We will prioritize social-emotional learning, character education, and the development of essential life skills.

• Student-Centered Approach: We will be student-centered, where every decision and initiative is driven by what is best for our students.

• Family and Community Engagement: Strong partnerships with families and the community are vital to the success of our students.

Together, we will empower our students to reach their full potential and prepare them for a successful future.
