HATBORO, PA — Residents in Bucks and Montgomery Counties are invited this Saturday to partake in a free family health fair being sponsored by a local legislator.

State Sen. Maria Collett, D-Montgomery/Bucks, said constituents of her 12th Senatorial District are welcome to attend the program this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Willow Grove YMCA, located at 3300 Davisville Road in Hatboro.

The fair will include more than 20 vendors, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Pennie, the Maternity Care Coalition, SNAP and CHIP providers, according to the senator's office.

Anyone looking to get a flu shot for the coming season or a COVID-19 booster will also have that opportunity since representatives from Eric's RX Shoppe will be on hand with vaccinations.

Appointments are recommended and anyone interested in getting a shot or booster can visit this section of Collett's website, which has sign-up instructions as well as additional details about the health fair.

The website also has a section detailing the communities in Montgomery and Bucks Counties included within Collett's district.

A senior health fair sponsored by Collett's office will also be hosted in Montgomery County in October.

That event will take place on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Generations of Indian Valley, located at 259 North Second Street in Souderton Borough.

During that second program, COVID-19 boosters and flu vaccines will also be available, but they will be provided by Hatfield Community Pharmacy.
