She ultimately channeled Audrey Hepburn for her 2021 nuptials to Dalton Gomez, opting for a custom silk empire-waist column gown, which had a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra-strap closure, and a plunging back. For a trendy finish, the dress was accented with a statement shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil that had a silk bow on the top. Wang took to Instagram to reflect on the design experience, saying Grande was "a truly magical muse."

Mariah Carey's first wedding to Tommy Mottola on June 5, 1993, was an over-the-top affair, complete with 50 flower girls. The singer's gown, inspired by Princess Diana's famous wedding dress, was designed by Vera Wang and featured puffy, off-the-shoulder sleeves, a billowing skirt and a 27-foot train. Mariah topped off her grand gown with a tiara and a 10-foot veil. When she married Nick Cannon at a surprise wedding in the Bahamas on April 30, 2008, Mariah wore a much subtler Nile Cmylo slip dress with an elbow-length veil.

Caroline Kennedy's Wedding Dress

When Caroline Kennedy married Edwin Schlossberg on July 19, 1986, in Centerville, Massachusetts, the family tried to keep the affair private, but a crowd of 2,000 people gathered outside the church. Those who saw the bride and groom walk down the church steps caught a glimpse of Kennedy in her white silk organza wedding dress. Designed by Carolina Herrera, the gown had a round neck, short sleeves and a long bodice embroidered with white shamrocks (a nod to her father's Irish ancestry). The full skirt extended into a sweeping 25-foot train, and on her head, she wore a bow with a long tulle veil.

Marilyn Monroe's Wedding Dress

Marilyn Monroe was married three times, but wore a traditional wedding dress only once, for her first wedding when she was 16. When she married baseball player Joe DiMaggio in 1954 at San Francisco City Hall, she donned a modest, dark brown pencil dress with a matching jacket. For her final walk down the aisle to marry playwright Arthur Miller in 1956, she wore a light beige, curve-hugging sheath, designed by Norman Norell and John Moore. A pair of white gloves and a chin-length veil attached to a pillbox hat added just enough style to make the look one of the most famous celebrity wedding dresses.

Elizabeth Taylor's Wedding Dress

Elizabeth Taylor was married eight times, to seven husbands (she wed Richard Burton twice). Her first trip down the aisle was to marry Conrad "Nicky" Hilton on May 6, 1950, when she was only 18. For the occasion, Liz wore a gown designed by MGM costume designer Helen Rose (the same designer who would design Grace Kelly's famous wedding gown six years later). The satin gown featured long sleeves, a silk gauze off-the-shoulder illusion neckline and a full skirt.

Priscilla Presley's Wedding Dress

Priscilla Beaulieu and Elvis Presley jetted to Las Vegas at 3 a.m. on May 1, 1967, and were married by 9 a.m. at the Aladdin Hotel. The bride designed her own wedding dress, a silk chiffon gown lined with seed pearls. Atop her bouffant hairdo, Priscilla wore a three-foot veil attached to a rhinestone crown.

Lauren Conrad's Wedding Dress

Lauren Conrad chose a simple yet glamorous bridal look when she married William Tell on September 14, 2014. The Chantilly and Alençon lace gown was designed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka and featured a high-neck illusion-lace top, a sheer, embroidered back and a 10-foot train.
