[ Mon chan Travels! ] Mon chan could not miss out on a visit to Tokyo Skytree while it was in the capital, so that’s where it headed to next! At 634m high, Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world! It opened in 2012 and serves as a broadcasting tower and Tokyo’s famous landmark. Of course, the views from the observation decks are nothing short of spectacular and you can even see Mt Fuji on clear days. It’s a pity that it was too cloudy when Mon chan went, but it still thoroughly enjoyed the experience and panoramic view of Tokyo! Whenever I go to eastern Hokkaido, I always stop by at La Laiterie Nakashibetsu. It is a shop which sells dairy products such as milk, yoghurt, ice cream, and cheese. Nakashibetsu is famous for its good quality milk, so the dairy products at La Laiterie taste really good.

My favourite is the drinking yoghurt. The quality is especially fantastic. It is made with only fresh milk, without flavourings or preservatives, so you can taste the pure flavour of the milk. Even the bacteria used and fermentation process was adjusted to bring out the best flavour from Nakashibetsu’s milk. You can enjoy the natural sweetness and a little bit of sourness, which makes this drink very tasty.

However, the products from La Laiterie can only be found in Nakashibetsu and the Akan area. Even if you go to Sapporo, you will not be able to find them. So, if you ever have the chance to go to East Hokkaido, I recommend trying this!
