Days of Hot Weather in Denver
Denver usually gets a taste of scorching hot weather each year. On average, the thermometer hits 100 degrees Fahrenheit just one day in July. Temperatures in the 90s occur from June to September, including on about half of July days.
Winters are much cooler. Just a few days from December to February make it to 60 degrees, and none normally reach past 70.
Regardless of how warm the days get, Denver cools down at night to below 70 °F. Summer nights can stay in the 60s, but outside of July lows are more often down to the 50s. From October to April, nighttime temperatures in Denver normally fall below 50 degrees.

How Often Denver Has Cold Temperatures
Denver more frequently has freezing temperatures than other metropolitan areas its size. Nighttime lows can drop to 32 degrees or less in all but three months a year.
The coldest nights get to zero degrees Fahrenheit or below. Temperatures in negative territory happen seven times a year on average, scattered amongst January, February and December.
Despite the frequency of night frost, Denver usually thaws during the day. Just 21 days a year typically have highs that don't break through the 32-degree freezing point. Weather this chilly shows up anytime from November to April, with any one month averaging at most six days.
