Waynesburg College, founded in 1849, is a private, Christian, liberal arts institution offering a variety of graduate and research programs to students. The college offers various courses in communications, criminal justice, education, business, forensics, nursing, and sports broadcasting and management. The additional programs offered by the college include physical education, visual arts and counseling psychology. It provides various sports activities to students, including volleyball, cross-country, soccer, tennis, baseball, wrestling, softball, football and golf.
