I would usually 100% agree with this. We had an antenna when we lived in FL, and it was awesome. Byt, we recently moved to VA, and we can not get a signal anywhere in the house. There are too many trees. So, it depends on where you live if this is an option.

Mod teams are here, better watch out. God forbid the average person was able to watch a game of a team they don't live in the state of.

Thursday is Amazon, Sunday Night NBC/Peacock, Monday night is ABC some games/ESPN, locals would be CBS/FOX, and out of market Sunday Ticket is google/YouTube tv. Antenna would be the cheapest to start.

With NFL+ you can watch your locally televised games on your phone or tablet, including Monday and Sunday Night Football games. You need to be a prime subscriber to watch Thursday Night games. Paramount+ and Peacock give you access to your local CBS and NBC channels so you can watch whatever is televised locally on CBS on your TV and Sunday Night Football which is televised on NBC on your TV. Select Monday Night Football games are televised on ESPN+ you can watch on your TV but it’s usually the Manning Cast, so you won’t get every game, and if you aren’t a fan of them, then you may not like commentary. NFL+ gives you replays of the games immediately following the conclusion of the game. Beginning this year, YouTube is offering Sunday Ticket.

With NFL+ can I watch the CBS and NBC local games live still? I guess I’m trying to decipher the difference between NFL+ and Paramount+. If I can watch all games locally with NFL+ I’ll just do that

Yes, but only on your phone or tablet.

So if I want to watch live local games on my TV i should get Paramount plus?

I literally gave you every piece of information you need to make an informed decision. I’m not going to delve deeper into the nuances because you refuse to process the very information you requested.

You can get the games that CBS provides to your area only. This means one or two games a week.

Anybody tried connecting a tablet to a TV? Do they block it somehow?

Wait what? What is wrong with these people?

If you can watch locally televised games on your TV from NBC and CBS by having Peacock or Paramount+ on your TV then why do you need NFL plus to watch locally televised games from CBS and NBC on your TV ?

I think NFL+ is a good option if you want the capability to watch local games on your mobile devices and don’t want to subscribe to a bunch of other stuff.

Do you have to provide a cable tv provider login to watch local televised games on your mobile with a NFL+ subscription? That’s the answerI can’t seem to find.

If you don't care about seeing the game live, nfl+ is the way to go.

Is it a delay with NFL+, and do you get Monday and Thursday night football?

More replies

Probably Sunday Ticket on YouTube/YouTube TV. Not the cheapest but will give you every out of market game.

So I live in Cali and most of the time i don’t to see the Steelers game. Your telling me if I get the Sunday ticket on YouTube I’ll be able to watch the Steelers play?

If you get the answer please tag me! I live in Florida and want to watch my home state AZ games!

Streaming Service but I got to sign up for Paramount+, Peacock, and ESPN+ to watch NFL games but I got Amazon Prime to stream Thursday night games. For the Sunday Night NBC games is available on Peacock, The Monday night ESPN games will also be simultancast on ABC for the first few weeks of the season and come back again in late November, the Sunday afternoon/early evening CBS games will be available on Paramount+, and the Sunday afternoon/early evening FOX games will be available on Tubi for free. I would expect to sign up before the new NFL season begins in September.

Will the FOX games on Tubi be live?

do you know if they were? this is first time I see tubi mentioned

It was the first I had seen it too. I checked yesterday and it was not on Tubi unfortunately. I wish there was a service you could subscribe to for fox sports like the AFC teams can do with Paramount+.

thanks, I guess I just won't have fox games

So it seems like:

To watch NFL games, you'll need subscriptions to multiple streaming services:

  • Thursday Night Games: Available on Amazon Prime

  • Sunday Night NBC Games: Streamed on Peacock

  • Monday Night ESPN Games: Simulcast on ABC initially, and again in late November

  • Sunday Afternoon/Early Evening CBS Games: On Paramount+

  • Sunday Afternoon/Early Evening FOX Games: Free on Tubi

Special Notes:

  • NFL+: Allows you to watch locally televised games, including Monday and Sunday Night Football, on mobile devices. Also provides game replays.

  • Local Channels: Paramount+ and Peacock also give you access to local CBS and NBC channels, respectively.

  • ESPN+: Offers select Monday Night Football games, typically featuring the Manning Cast commentary.

  • YouTube: Will offer Sunday Ticket starting this year.

Thank you guys for the information. Exactly what I was looking for

Bless you for bullet points, this made everything come together so nicely in my head! I went with Paramount +. Thank you!

thanks for mentioning tubi, are they live?

u/tommybahama84 avatar

No there are no live games on Tubi. Replays of old footage unfortunately. Antenna, Prime, Paramount, Peacock are the way to go if you want to save money instead of the high cost of Sunday Ticket.
