    Great stop for all
We did Brown vs Board in the morning and headed here after lunch. While two completely different stops, both were fantastic. We absolutely loved this museum!! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and helpful. The displays were just a perfect combination of reading the facts, watching a video of his jumps, and photos. I can absolutely see why this is moving to Vegas, it’s truly one of a kind. Definitely do the ride at the end, you may even end up doing it a few times! It’s the perfect conclusion. My hubby was saddened at the very few options at the gift shop, so be prepared. I can see why this has won awards. Stop here before it moves.

    Master Showman
Anyone over the age of 50 has heard of motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel. Learn how he got his name and how this museum ended up in Kansas. Lots of restored and original memoribilia. Of interest to most is the exhibit of Knievel's jump over the fountains at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where he crashed and sustained severe injuries. See it while you can because it's on its way to Vegas next year.

    All things Evel!
This was one of the highlights of a cross country trip. Evel was out of his mind as a child and it only built from there. Thank heavens his grandparents took the "boys will be boys" attitude. So fascinating! If you go, pay the extra bucks to do the virtual jump experience, absolutely worth it! I'd go here again in a heartbeat!

    Great Experience
This place is outstanding. I grew up in the '70's so it brought back a bunch of memories. Equally noteworthy is that my 18 year old son and 21 year old daughter with no memories of Evel Knievel loved it as well. A lot of love went into this place.

The greatest thing to see in Topeka!
I have been a fan of Evel Knievel since I was a little kid back in the early 70s. I was one of the lucky ones who actually got a letter from Evel. Visiting the museum was a bucket list experience. I promise you even if you take a lot of pictures you will wish you had taken more. It’s definitely worth the extra few bucks to do the motorcycle jump. Both my son and I did it and I put it on my phone and every now and then I watch it and it makes me smile. If you’ve enjoyed Evel Knievel or Robbie Knievel, it’s worth your time to go to Topeka and see this museum. Highly recommended.

You don't have to be die hard EK fans to enjoy this place!
This museum is fantastic! I absolutely loved every minute of being there! I could have spent all day, but had a condensed tour of some fabulous highlights. I recommend spending time at the wall of news articles, watching videos throughout of famous jumps, and reading the info plates by the exhibits. Very, very cool place! It will pull you back in time!

Great Showman of the late 20th Century
Impressed how much memorabilia that they put together for the museum. They have several floors to go through and put together in a timely manner, with a full-size truck in the lower floor. A motorcycle ride is available virtually for those young at heart. Gift shop is with the Harley Davidson store,

    Wow! Amazing
Our first time here. It took us almost 3 hours. But we read so many interesting facts, and looked at pictures and displays, very well done. They did tell us that the museum is going to be leaving and going to Las Vegas, so we were really glad we got to see it today. Well worth seeing. He had 433 broken bones on his lifetime. And 12 pounds of hardware inside him from all his surgeries!

The collection is very well laid out. Besides the large amount of memorabilia, each area has a short video on a loop along with an explanation on a piece of acrylic. If you watch and read just those things, you will be entertained and learn alot about this rapscallion and showman and see both successful and unsuccessful jumps. But along with those are many pictures, articles, motorcycles, outfits, his trailer and much more. We left with smiles.

The Evel Knievel Museum is well laid out and covers his entire career. I was thrilled to share the experience with my son. Some of the displays (read: kids attempting their own homemade bike jumps) took me back to my childhood. Even though portions of the museum were limited due to the pandemic, a majority was still open and worth the visit. When in Topeka, put this museum at the top of your list!

A great museum with many photos, videos, cycles and other Evel items. The museum is laid out in good order which makes it easy to follow Evel's life and career. There is much to read and watch, so the time needed to go through the museum is based on how much detail you want. Great displays of bigger items like his cycles, leathers, truck and especially the canyon cycle. Because of covid some interactive stations are not now available. It is well-worth a visit.

This place took you through his career and had video clips of most jumps. The restored truck was a great exhibit. It is worth spending some time to watch part of the video explaining the restoration process. I was a bit confused when we pulled up as this museum is in the Harley dealership building. The exhibits take up two floors so it is a large collection. It reminded me of my childhood. Good place to stop

We took all five grandkids for a visit. We used the Sunflower Summer app and got tickets for free. We paid extra for the virtual motorcycle jump and it was worth every penny. Evel Knieval was an “unknown” to my grandkids but they had a blast learning about his amazing career. Still a crowd-pleaser, Evel's legacy continues to entertain and challenge the imagination. It was a fascinating excursion for our “Cousins Camp” adventure and will long be fond memory of a week of great memories and adventures. Thanks for an exciting “ride!”

This was a really well laid out museum. I didn't know anything about Evel Knievel, but there is a laid out route that carries you through Evel's career chronologically. The first part of the museum is divided into his main jumps which outline what distance/object he was jumping, the location, the end result (success or failure), and a physical motorcycle showing what he used for the jump. This format works really well and is easy to absorb for those who don't know much about him. The second part of the museum outlines just how big of an icon Evel was in mainstream media and also goes into his attempted jump over Snake Canyon, which may have been his most famous stunt.

As a kid who grew up in the seventies idolizing the man, it was awesome when they opened the museum just a couple of hours from home. They had great displays with motorcycles, leathers and toys. I'll go back because I'm sure missed too many things the first time through.

The epitome of all things Evel! And superb hospitality! I live 8 hours away, but I try to visit several times a year. It's great and they are great! To see items up close and in interactive ways sets it apart from other museums. The knowledgeable volunteers and down-to-earth management folk make you feel like old friends. Take as much time as you can to savor all the sights and details of Evel's items and his career!

Weekday visit while passing through Topeka. Plenty of parking. We were pulling a boat and had no trouble though it may be more challenging on a weekend. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Exhibits were very well done with excellent combination of facts and artifacts. Wonderfully thought out details and presentation of information. Really enjoyed seeing Big Red tour truck and all the different motorcycles used by Evel. 4D motorcycle jump experience was worth the extra $5. Wished there was a wider variety of souvenirs and Evel themed apparel for women.

This museum (and attached Harley dealership) are well worth the visit. The Evel Knievel memorabilia was amazing and the different sections of the museum were interactive and informational. My husband is a huge Evel Knievel fan, and he was like a kid in a candy shop! :) Spend the extra few bucks and do the VR bike jump - it's a lot of fun!

The Historic Harley next door continued the trip down memory lane with lots of vintage bikes and accessories. We just happened upon the site and so glad we decided to stop in on our trip to Colorado.
