Congratulations are in order for Cameron Diaz and her husband Benjamin Madden on the birth of their first daughter together, Raddix Madden. 

The two welcomed their little girl at the start of the New Year, but they're keeping things very private. Diaz surprised us all with the baby announcement, as it wasn't very publicly known that she was pregnant. Other than a few baby bump rumors, she kept her pregnancy hush-hush. Now the life of their new daughter will be kept under wraps too. 

Madden and Diaz have been married since 2015 and have openly discussed not necessarily wanting kids. But Diaz has always kept her personal life private, despite being one of the biggest actors in the industry. They clearly seem over-the-moon now that their little one is a part of their life.

Diaz surprised fans when she announced she had welcomed a little girl with her husband, Benji Madden. 

Diaz has always been fiercely independent and has said that kids might not be in the cards for her. But at 45 she delivered a baby. Maintaining her privacy, she won't be giving out any further details or photos of the child.

She wrote in her post, "Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect out little one's privacy. So we won't be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really, really cute!! Some would even say RAD:) From our family to all of yours, we're sending our love and best wishes for a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade..."

Since getting married to Madden, pregnancy rumors have followed Diaz, but the latest ones were actually true.

Some paparazzi photos captured images of Diaz's baby bump and more pregnancy rumors flew. Of course, she didn't entertain the media frenzy that followed her, despite them being totally on point. Diaz isn't the first celebrity to try to have a private pregnancy and birth, but she may have been the most successful at keeping it quiet.

The happy couple are going to make amazing parents.

Diaz is a progressive health and wellness lover. She even wrote a book about life longevity. Plus, little Raddix has the coolest rocker dad, as the frontman for Good Charlotte. Not to mention, Diaz and Madden are so in love with each other it's adorable. Madden shared this loving picture of his wife on Valentine's Day. 

Plus, they're already parents to a few rescue fur babies. 

They've had some practice when it comes to taking care of a living being, by rescuing a few shelter dogs. Madden loves to post his pups on his Instagram, especially when he's missing them on the road. Too bad we won't get to see any baby posts on their social media feeds, but Diaz assured her followers that she's totally cute.

They've been married for just about five years now, so congratulations to the new family. 

These love birds deserve all the happiness, and now they are embarking on a new parenthood adventure. Congrats to the happy family!
