Student Transportation

Scholars who live outside of the Walk Zone (1 mile radius from their school of attendance) can receive transportation from Warrensville Heights City School District.

Parents and guardians are required to submit the Transportation Request Form, and/or the Alternative Transportation Request form, each school year and throughout the school year for address changes or pick up/drop off changes. Online applications for transportation will only be accepted before the deadline of July 31. Parents and Guardians seeking transportation for their scholars for the 2022 - 2023 school year should go in person to the Transportation Office on 4500 Warrensville Center Road between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm to register. Check back for information on the 2023 - 2024 School Year later this year.

Be sure to review Bus behavior expectations with your scholar.

STOPFINDER APP for Busing

Warrensville Heights City School District will be using a new parent app, Stopfinder, for the upcoming school year. Stopfinder is the easy-to-use, all-in-one app that allows you to have the most accurate information about your student’s bus schedule at anytime from anywhere. In addition to displaying your student’s transportation information, Stopfinder includes a private messaging feature that will allow you to communicate directly with the Transportation Department. You can also create GeoAlerts for your student, which will notify you when the bus has arrived or departed from any location on your student’s route, including their assigned bus stop and school. GeoAlerts Alert Zones can be created for individual students allowing you to customize the Alert Zone based on their bus route.

The email address that is currently on file with the district will be used for Stopfinder setup. Please contact the Transportation Department to make a change to your primary email address.

Downloading the Stopfinder App
Stopfinder can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play. Stopfinder will require an invite and registration through the district prior to accessing your student’s transportation schedule. Please watch for a Stopfinder invitation, which will be emailed to your primary email on August 22, 2023. Please contact Transportation Department with questions.

Accessing Student Bus Schedules

Access to student schedules is granted only to the student’s designated contacts by the Transportation Department. The Stopfinder contacts, at their own discretion, may share their student’s schedule with caregivers (sub-subscribers.) An invitation to activate your Stopfinder account will be sent via email.

Please Contact Chinita Hickman:

  • If you haven’t received an email invitation to register for Stopfinder
  • If you have any questions regarding your student’s schedule
