The quest begins 230 million years ago in the Triassic period. Discover the reptilian Nothosaurus and the predator Cymbospondylus . Travel to the primeval Ordovician period, 450 million years ago a hostile period where the atmosphere is poisonous and there is no life on land. It's then on to the Devonian period, 360 million years ago, where the placoderms, a terrible breed of fish, ruled.

Travel on to the Eocene epoch, 36 million years ago, and meet the rhino-like Arsinoitherium, a pod of small and nippy whales called Dorudon as well as the primitive Basilosaurus whale.
