Russell Tovey and Bertie Carvel star as two friends brought together by something they thought left behind in the past. The pair find this unwanted memory coming back to life with a viciousness that threatens to destroy more than just one man’s world. Tovey has been on an interesting career trajectory—many will know him for performances in “Being Human” and the “Doctor Who” universe. What some may have missed is the art-centric podcast “Talk Art” from Tovey; it’s been a successful way for the actor to show off his personality away from complex roles. Carvel also has an impressive reputation amongst the British entertainment industry. His work extends across a gamut of genres from the drama of “Doctor Foster” to the fantasy world of “Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.” The project also stars Amrita Acharia, Nina Toussaint-White, Amanda Root, Simone Ashley, and Paul Bazely.
