Without YouTube, we may never have been introduced to Justin Bieber (gasp!) and we wouldn’t be able to spend legit hours watching cat videos or fail compilations. YouTube has given us behind-the-scenes insight into the lives of our favorite celebrities, sneak peeks of upcoming movies and TV shows, and endless amounts of viral entertainment. This French bulldog loves to skateboard all on his own!
3. Daft Hands: Harder, Better, Faster Stronger: 2007
It's the stuff internet fame is made of: a closeup of a girl's hands opening and closing along with Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger." We have to admit it's pretty mesmerizing.
4. Robert Kelly's Kids Interrupt His BBC Interview
Professor Robert Kelly was being interviewed by BBC News when his toddler and baby managed to sneak into the room and interrupt the broadcast. Even better, the mom comes crawling into the room into an attempt to discreetly close the door.
5. Will It Blend: 2010
The makers of the Blendtec blender test different items to find out if they will, in fact, blend. While many of their videos have view counts in the millions, this video of Tom Dickinson attempting to blend and iPad tops them all.
6. Shoes: 2007
This might be one of the most relatable viral YouTube videos of all time especially for anyone whose inner monologue is focused on, well, shoes. It’s been around for nearly ten years but we still find it hilarious every time we watch. Let’s get some shoes!
7. "Friday" by Rebecca Black: 2011
Sing it with us now, “Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday.” Sorry, but we can’t think about YouTube without thinking about Rebecca Black. Regardless of your feelings about this particular song, we have to admit that it’s pretty darn catchy. BTW, Rebecca Black’s new music is actually amazing and totally different from this first song.

Another toddler steals the scene when his mom captures him trying to plead his case for more cupcakes.
9. Henri 2, Paw de Deux: 2012
Set to dramatic piano, narrated in French and translated into English, the Henri YouTube videos feature a fluffy black and white cat who is hilariously dramatic. The second installment of the videos has the most views and is arguably the most funny.
10. A Bad Lip Reading of Donald Trump's Inauguration: 2017
New life is brought to inauguration day when the script is rewritten with this ridiculous interpretation of what the politicians and their wives were actually saying.
11. Laughing Chewbacca Mask Lady
Texas mom Candace Payne went shopping at Kohl's and bought a Chewbacca mask. She filmed herself laughing her head off when she tried it on in the parking lot, and frankly, it's contagious. You can't watch it without smiling. It was originally published on Facebook and earned more than 140 million views, but it's also been published on YouTube, where it's been viewed more than 10 million times.

Todrick Hall's twist on Beauty and the Beast shows what happens when Belle finds herself in a whole new neighborhood.

17. Evolution of Dance: 2006
Comedian Judson Laipply performs every popular style of dance from the '60s twist to classic boy band moves, all in under six minutes.
18. Where the Hell is Matt: 2006
American traveler Matt Harding rose to YouTube fame after filming himself dancing in locations all around the globe.
19. Kyle Hanagami Choreography to "Shape of You": 2017
Dancers at Millenium Dance Complex in Hollywood work out Kyle Hanagami's choreography, creating one of the most viral dance videos on YouTube.
20. Free Hugs Campaign: 2006
The band Sick Puppies made a YouTube music video featuring a man walking around with a sign that reads "Free Hugs" and the sweet responses.
21. 'Ain't Nobody Got Time for That' with Sweet Brown: 2012
After Sweet Brown's apartment complex caught fire, she was interviewed by the news. She described being affected by the smoke. Of the smoke, she said "ain't nobody got time for that" — and that phrase caught on like none other.
22. 'Hide Yo' Kids, Hide Yo' Wife' with Antoine Dodson: 2012
In another news segment that went viral, Antoine Dodson speaks out after an intruder broke into his home in and tried to attack his sister. He famously said "Y'all need to hide yo kids, hide you wife."

Nora the cat can play piano better than some people! She plies the keys as alongside her owner, clearly trying to match the rhythm.

In perhaps the best wedding entrance of all time, the bridesmaids, groomsmen, bride and groom dance down the aisle to Chris Brown's "Forever."

Michelle Phan actually got her start on Xanga (throwback!) where she had a blog, and she then started posting makeup tutorials on YouTube. From there, she was named on one of Forbes “30 Under 30” lists and turned into an all-out Internet celebrity.

This eight-second video has collected over three million views, and it’s just kind of fascinating to watch over and over. Also, we’re pretty sure we’d laugh forever if we saw someone do that IRL.

With over 200 million views and counting, the Sneezing Baby Panda will never not be entertaining. There’s something about the way that little guy startles his mama panda that will crack us up every single time.
35. Justin Bieber’s Early Days: 2008
Seriously, if it weren’t for YouTube, we would have NO JUSTIN. Think about that for a second. Justin Bieber was discovered through his cover videos in 2008, and released his first EP in 2009. We will always be grateful for these videos of baby Justin, with his floppy bangs.

When you combine diet coke with mentos, a fantastic explosion ensues — this video shows two men dressed in lab coats releasing explosive sprays from dozens of liter bottoles of diet coke.

Russian singer Eduard Khil (a.k.a. Mr. Trololo) recorded this in 1976, and when the clip was uploaded to YouTube in 2009, it went completely viral.

When asked about his zombie makeup by a news anchor, all this little boy had to say was that he like turtles — and the clip went viral, to the tune of more than 50 million views.
39. The Universal Hot vs. Crazy Matrix: 2014
This tongue-in-cheek guide to dating women. In it, Nashville lawyer Dana McClendon stands at a whiteboard and explains how craziness and hotness should be correlating. The video is meant to be a comedy routine, of course, and not an actual guide to dating women.
40. Chocolate Rain: 2007
The best part about this video is obviously the captions where he tells us, “I move away from the mic in order to breathe in.” Laughing/crying emoji forever.
41. Nick Offerman's Yule Log: 2015
Funny man Nick Offerman (of Parks and Recreation fame) sits in a leather chair drinking a glass of whisky by a yule log without speaking for 45 minutes. The video has earned more than 3.4 million views.
42. Surprise Proposal for Beyoncé Dancer: 2016
Beyoncé's dance captain Ashley Everett got the surprise of her life when her boyfriend walked onstage while she was dancing behind Bey. The show stopped so he could propose — and Beyoncé was in on the whole thing.

Japanese yodeler Takeo Ischi, clad in lederhosen, yodels while corralling chickens. This video is the stuff internet dreams are made of.
44. Boys Choir Eats Chili Peppers While Singing: 2017
In the midst of singing "Oh Come, All Ye Faithful," each member of the Herning Boys Choir swallows down a ghost pepper. The result? Coughing, watering eyes and full-on crying amid the angelic singing — and one of the best YouTube videos to go down in history.

Former President Barack Obama shook things up at the 2015 White House Correspondents' Dinner when he brought Keegan Michael-Key onstage with him as his "anger translator." After each polite remark Obama would make, the anger translator would say what Obama (and everyone else, for that matter) was really thinking.

More than 1,500 inmates at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Cebu, Philippines danced it out to Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
50. United Breaks Guitars: 2009
The band Sons of Maxwell's guitars were broken after United Airlines' employees threw the guitars they were supposed to be gently putting onto the plane. When United Airlines was no help in reimbursing them, the band made a catchy song chronicling the event. The video went viral and was a PR disaster for the airline.
