Vinted is a great platform and opportunity to sell your old clothes, which you don‘t wear anymore. I just started my vinted business, it‘s very easy and fast to buy and sell things. You can read the recommentations about a user and then you know, if you can trust them. I can only recommend, if you have a full closet with old things and don‘t know what to do with it, before you throw it away, you can make someone else happy! :D

Opened a Vinted account and then thought better of it and deleted. After thinking it over and reasoning that I had a lot of things that could be sold I opened another account and put 7 items that were genuine for sale. One clogau necklace sold straight away and I sent it to the seller. Next I know my account had been blocked due to fraudulent activity. How dare they. In other circumstances if you randomly accuse people of criminal activity you would need proof. Vinted appear to think that they are above that. I am more annoyed at being accused of being a criminal than being blocked by an App that I have no faith in.

I got scammed again.
They wouldn't sell through the system so I sent them money through PayPal just to find that they kept the items published and were offering discounts on the item already sold to me.
When I reached out to support I only got automated messages with no measures preventing other users from getting scammed for the same items.
90% of users won't sell through the system. And the app is full of scammers but support won't even look into it if they didn't sell through the system.
My latest scammer is still there selling the same items to other people even though I spent an awful amount of time trying to get the vinted team to remove them.
I will recommend all of my friends to stay away from this app now.

The platform is not safe at all. Profiles are getting hacked so easily and we trust the ones with many reviews but then they come back 2 days later and saying they are being hacked. I bought 2 bags 500euro and both told me they were hacked and they dont have these bags. Accounts should not be hacked so easily in a platform which is offering a product. Also found so many accounts with same photos, Vinted should recognize them fast but unfortunately they are very slow with it
Pls make sure the account is not hacked or fake.

Been using the app for ~20 purchases both through the system and via PayPal, and so far and everything went smoothly. People are generally nice and things get delivered reasonably fast (with the occasional friendly ping). The Android app itself is snappy and rich in features, and so far I haven't run into any bugs, a combo which, these days, is unfortunately kind of a rare thing.

The idea is great - customer support and the fee they ask for it is beyond useless and a scam. No matter whether you’re a seller or a buyer is something goes wrong in the process you’re screwed. You contact help and it just seems like you’re talking to a bot, explain the situation thousand times and they keep asking the same questions. Please hire some relevant people and get and professionalise an actual support and else don’t ask such a ridiculous fee for a non existent help service.

I love Vinted with my whole heart! I don’t really experience anything bad. Some people are kind of weird, but it’s always a friendly conversation. I don’t think Vinted can change something Because it’s great as it is!

Vinted closed my account saying I was selling counterfeit items. (I wasn't. This must be deformation of character), and that I did not respond to their request for info However, I was using a PC and you do not get notifications. They wouldn't listen to my protest or take notice of the photos I sent once I saw their request. They must know you don't get the notifications on a PC, so I didn't see it until I checked as I hadn't heard from them. No flexibility at all. So grossly unfair.

I posted my prom dress to finally give it a home after letting it hang in my closet for too long. I truly only used my photos but for some reason vinted deleted my article. they claimed i used photos that were not mine. I will try again but i am not in the mood to do this daily.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life. I sold a Gucci luxury handbag and when the package arrived at destination the buyer said there was nothing inside. The only solution I have been given is to pack the packages better next time. A bunch of thieves.I suggest that you do NOT trust this company.

I have had my account indefinitely blocked unnecessarily and when my husband tried to set an account up he got blocked straight away for apparently trying to set up multiple accounts!! I do not know how they track this as he used his own email address and account information! So can two people from the same household not have their own vinted accounts? Terrible platform and the customer contact is an automated messaging service!

The platform is absolutely pathetic will kick you off for the stupidest things and then you can’t ever have an account again. If you continue doing this you will have no members left

Great App, it allows you to give a new life to items that are no longer useful for you. Users are very nice and uncomplicated, all trades went very smoothly so far. It's a nice place to find baby clothes (that usually are short-lived) for lower prices.
The App itself doesn't work perfectly, sometimes payment through the app doesn't work, which naturally puts constraints on the trade. Sometimes, when you pay/get paid through PayPal, the App suspends your account for a few hours. I understand payments outside the app are not profitable for the company, but some users only accept Paypal (money comes immediately instead of being held for a few days in the App due to buyer's protection) so I think the company has to find some creative way to integrate this in their system.
All in all, definitely recommend!

I love the concept and everything. Using Vinted on a daily basis to shop, get inspo und sell some items.
Only thing I can criticise is their way of handling reports. Some users just report people out if the blue because they’re petty and every time your account gets blocked for the time Vinted checks this which is quite unpleasant while trying to sell items to people.

I recently opened an account to sell a coat. Within a couple of hours they blocked the account saying I had committed fraudulent activity. The only communication I had was from 2 buyers saying they could not see my photos clearly and would I send them to their Gmail accounts. I was suspicious, so googled "is Vinted safe to use" and the clear answer was not to have any communication outside the Vinted app. So I ignored these requests. The next thing I was blocked. I obviously explained this to Vinted, but all they did was ask for me to supply ridiculous information relating to the item, which I do not have as it's not new. Anyone would think I was selling mass loads of stuff, but it was one coat.
I would not recommend them to anyone if they behave this way. More trouble than it's worth

Super sale-buy application at decent prices! I made my account some time ago, but it probably wasn't the right time then. Vinted is good for selling fast fashion, but not premium or luxury products. The approval process to list the designer items is set but their own employees do not follow the process, so it could happen that the listings are just deleted.
