Posting this issue here to see if it's affected anyone else as it's driving me mad.
I've been trying to set up an account, but each time I've downloaded the app and set username etc, it won't let me select UK as my country, because the app thinks I'm in France. The verification code email is from vinted.fr.
Because you can't change country once your account is set up, I've now had to create new email accounts, and new vinted accounts *6 TIMES* to try to get this to work. My IP address is in the UK, I've not been using a VPN on my phone, but still the Vinted app thinks I'm in France. All Vinted customer service are saying is that my phone must be showing up as being in France for some reason and that I should keep trying.
I've tried to register on an old phone, as well as a chromebook, so three devices in total. Same issue across all of them, the dreaded email from vinted.fr and no possibility to change to my actual country.
Has anyone else experienced this, and how did you sort it?
