I haven't had Victory Pig Pizza since I was a child so I vaguely remembered what it was like. My boyfriend has never had it. We ordered two pieces each of pizza w/onion, white with broccoli, pagash and extra brown. It was cute that they...put each different type in it's own box, but it wasn't entirely necessary. We also ordered fries and a beef BBQ sandwich. I was hoping the fries would be fresh cut, but they were just frozen fries that were fried. It didn't specify fresh cut so I wasn't too disappointed. They were still crispy when we got them and all of the food was hot. My boyfriend said the beef BBQ tasted like sliced beef from the deli that had sauce on it. He wouldn't get it again. The pizza wasn't overly greasy, which was nice, but it was pretty boring and bland. Even with the toppings. We probably won't be getting from here again. It's nothing we would crave. We had leftovers, but probably won't eat them. People do love this place. I pass it to and from work daily and they're always busy.More

There isn't a better pizza anywhere! I grew up going to VP with family, then after high school football games on Friday nights. I lived overseas, whenever anyone came to visit me they brought 30, 40, even 50 cuts! Customs folks were astonished. Coming back...to The Valley we've visited VP time and time again, it's fantastic pizza and although I live in Southern California, I find ways for family/friends to bring 25/30 cuts when they visit here. I transports well. I freeze it too, reviving it with a few drops of water then a low warming in oven.More

Others imitate but no one can master the pizza served here. It is an old family recipe and we drive 2 hours to enjoy it! it is a distinctive square pizza, usually served with onions (although you can get it without). Curbside service. A must...try!More

Stay Away!! Greasy, overpriced and downright ignorant. They treat you like they are doing you a favor by "allowing" you to order food there. Phone is always off the hook making you to show up in person. It takes 20 minutes for "Pigtail Patty" to...take your order. Then you wait an hour sitting in their parking lot (Can't order and comeback) to receive a few slices of pizza. Caters to door dasher's at a premium menu price. No longer offers dine in. They tell you what you owe for your food, but won't show you a bill...More

2nd week of January. We've never been, so thought we'd try it for supper, about 7pm .Google said it's open and closes at 10 pm, tried to order online , it looked like you could but when I tried it wouldn't allow me to order...and message came up stating not accepting online orders. Next open on January 19th. So are they open, or not? Tried to call several times , busy signal. So decide to just go there , it's about 10 miles from us. Drive there open the car door and this lady comes running out, said no indoor dining right now. Ok, so my son asks for a menu, we don't have any right now she says. So I pull up there menu on my phone and she's already looking annoyed at having to wait for me to do that. So I said ok just give us a tray of pizza . She goes back in, comes out a few minutes later with the pizza I went to hand her my card, she's says cash only. I said I m sorry i don't usually carry cash. I Saud I didn't see where it said that online. She snapped that " irs been thus way since 1942" . Which means nothing to me . Perhaps if she had mentioned that when taking the order since she knew we were new customers, we would have known, and would have either said nevermind , or have gone to get cash while waiting for our food. She was unbelievably rude . She said " Are you going to come back with cash? " I said I don't know. I guess . And she ran back inside at which point I decided, I think we'll just go somewhere else. So we went to booyah, where friendly people who were nice to us served up tasty food. Zero stars for victory pig and their rude unfriendly person.More

This was a terrible experience. My sister and I stopped for the pizza. First off no in side service, bad start. Got the pizza and figured that Rich does not own The Pig any more. Something has changed big time. First off is the cheese...has changed. Cheese pulls off the pizza when you bite it. I have been a fan for 40 year but never had that happened. Cheese has changes. Sauce has no crushed tomato, too much puree and little onions which makes the pie over the top in the past. I can definately call out this failure as I worked in the pizza business in Forty Fort and competed against the Pig for many yearsMore

Picked up a tray of pizza, 18 wings, fries and a hot dog. I have to tell you; I have always loved their pizza but never had their wings before this past Saturday. They are smoked wings and the sauces come on the side, well...there...was no need for sauce! These wings are so good, I could not stop eating them. I normally do not eat wings, bites only, but these...I can't wait for Wednesday to come so I can get more!More

I am from Kingston and now live in North Carolina. I ordered the pizza shipped to me and it was the best. Best pizza I have had in the last 50 years...which is how long it has been since I have eaten here. I can't...believe the pizza shipped that well.More

The absolutely worst place to represent the people of The Valley .Both in food and attitude. Fifty years ago was the famous home of great pizza. Then became a place that would not serve long haired adolescents etc. Arrogant owners and their family get what...they deserve by selling overpriced terrible pizza . Thankfully , great pizza is now available in many places on the West Side that are cordial , pleasant , and deserve our business.More

Poor rude service . They hung up on me 3 times when I tried to track a tray orders on line to South Carolina. Told me to go to website! Asked for manager and he said there is no one I can file a complaint...with and hung up again. The website posted their store phone number if you have a problem. I reported them to my credit card co when I discovered the charge went through even though they never shipped the pizza. I ordered on a Monday and on Friday I still did not receive my order. I never dealt with such a low life like this in my life!More

Just reviewed, attempted to visit September 30th. Used to be the family favorite, and we would bring 40 cuts home to have and share. Was not aware of the way they changed ordering curb service only, says indoor dining online however. Even after I called...and said I didn't know it changed, man was rude and told an hour before ready?? I pulled in at 4:35! The website needs to be updated then I wouldn't have wasted a drive. Went to Ceccoli pizza in Parsons, way better by far. We live in NY and will give them our business instead. Last time Victory Pig, cutting slices smaller and jacking up price for kids lunch quality product, no thanks.More

We used to go here in the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's. Almost nothing has changed. Pizza is now ok. Smoked wings are great. Service ok. $9.80 for four sodas no free refills!! 25% of our bill was for soda!!Then $.21 for a 6 cut...box. So very disappointing. I guess this is why we stopped going here. Never again at this depressed little pizza place. Go to any place in Pittston, West Pittston, Old Forge or Avoca for better pizza and service.More

Tried this place on the fly. Dirty, bad service, and horrible food. My wife got sick on the pizza and I slipped on the greasy restroom floor. Not our finest hour.
