At that time, Kaye was playing professional basketball for the New York in the Women's Pro Basketball League alongside her identical twin sister, Faye Young. Moreover, Bill and Kaye found that they are meant to be after dating for a while.

Cowher & His Wife, Veronica Tested Positive for COVID-19
Heart and Steel co-author, Bill and his second wife, Veronica found that they were infected with symptoms of COVID-19 in March 2020. One month later, they tested for antibodies, but it came out positive in result. Likewise, Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson also tested positive for Coronavirus.
The couple initially realized their sense of smell and taste has gone after their trip to Honolulu following Bill's daughter, Lindsay's marriage in Tokyo. While returning to New York City, they arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport, where they dined in a restaurant.
Bill shortly felt a mild fever and body ache whilst his wife, Veronica was coughing dry. They then quarantined for 14 days and took bed rest until they recovered. As of now, they have recovered from the virus successfully and living a healthy lifestyle.
