Cons
Getting work is very political and one has to be careful to stroke the appropriate egos. Culture is not particularly great. Very lonely job with very little interaction amongst the group and very if any group team building events.

Hybrid model -3 in office and 2 remote ( although moving to 4 in office with one remote ; wouldn’t be surprised if moved to all 5 days in office) Chicago Building has nice amenities

3/2 remote policy is inflexible Attorneys made to be superior / non collaborative environment. No team outings or activities for non attorneys Pizza party in boardroom type rewards/acknowledgement for your hard work

Vedder has mostly long-term staff employees, which means that they are valued and treated well. Management is professional and responsive. Benefits are excellent. 401K profit-sharing and year-end bonuses are generous. Technical support is top shelf. Good working environment and supportive coworkers.
