- CinobratVancouver, BC8 contributionsI bought a ticket for the tall ship cruise departing from Mill Bay as a birthday present for my husband. The wives of his friends also thought it was a great idea and bought a ticket for their husbands - birthday and anniversary gifts. They came back absolutely delighted with tour. I was pleasantly surprised to hear how interactive the cruise was. They were able to be at the helm and hoist the sails. Of course, you don’t have to. They are looking forward to doing this again. Fantastic crew! Highly recommend it!Written August 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Katelyn2727Kamloops, Canada242 contributionsA nice spot for q walk and there's a lovely sandy beach to explore. There is also a seafood store and a pub on-site. You need to pay to park unless you eat at the pub.Written July 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RockiroadsOshawa, Canada1,271 contributionsWe were dropped off by our water taxi (sort of) at this Marina. They had customs come down to meet us. Very clean place. Very organized. I have to tell you something weird, definitely one of the nicest bathrooms of any where especially in a Marina. It was like a spa! Glass, walls, greenish tile, marble, spa music. Holy Crap!! A rough ride over from San Juan Islands during the tide but, a great stop to get back to Victoria area.Written September 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PattiS1979Cold Lake, Canada110 contributionsWe love to walk the docks here, or take the trail that leads to transfer park, see the bear carved in the rocks, or find the star carved in rock as well.Written December 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Casey LNanaimo, Canada118 contributionsSCENIC drive to Maple & Genoa Bay! If you're looking for a scenic drive through amazing west coast forest and farmland, the 15 km drive to Maple and then Genoa Bay is well worth it. Both have restaurants (I think only one in each area) and a few spots to also sit and enjoy a picnic/bevvy if outside if you're so inclined. A cute furry ferret (? at least I think it was one) walked along the rocks in front of me in Maple Bay-no fear of humans but so cute). As you can see from the pics, Maple Bay also has a float home community (w/ a few for sale). The inlet's pretty big so would be great for novice canoers or kayakers (very sheltered yet big inlet)Written February 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rick GVictoria, Canada56 contributionsFirst time at the marina trying to locate a fish charter and I was lost but went into the office and was met with great pleasantries and a very helpful front end staff member! Very early so didn't expect much talk let alone not being somewhat grumpy but I was dead wrong as the person was so helpful, the place was nice and clean as well the neighborhood was so beautiful once the darkness went away. Also this was much closer than I thought I had to travel (to Sooke) so much preferred with all things included to stop here and in fact loved it so much going back again real soon!Written September 27, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
