What travelers are saying
- Fernanda Marquez2 contributionsThe experience was beautiful, it is a very quiet and clean place.
We were fortunate to be able to travel by boat from Vancouver to Victoria, the boat was quite, clean and with very friendly employees.
During the boat trip they told us that you can see the whales, of course you have to be very lucky to be able to see them and go in the correct season.
When we arrived in Victoria we went to this garden, which from the moment you enter you are amazed, since there are many species of flowers and different colors.
Of course it is also a place where you can take many photos for your Instagram.
I hope to be able to return to that place very soon, to take a break and relax, I highly recommend it.Written May 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ccriderYVRVancouver, Canada4,698 contributionsWe never miss a visit to Beacon Hill park when we are in Victoria. It’s a great place to walk about and also encounter peacocks, ducks, owls and lots of squirrels.
Spring time is beautiful with all of the flowers and trees blossoming.
You can connect to the beach and walk and explore for some time if you want.Written April 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gjh77Vancouver, Canada30 contributionsHad an absolute blast on the multi cave with our guide Allister. It was a full 2.5 hours, absolutely the best value tour for the price I have ever done. Allister explained so many interesting things on the hike up to the caves as well as inside the caves. The caves themselves were breathtakingly beautiful. There were a few tight spots but that just added to the amazing experience. The waterfall in the main cave was a must do.Written May 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- tdsuperstarToronto, Canada18,825 contributionsHad a great tour with Ryan, the architecture and history of building was brought to life. The forty or so minute tour really makes you appreciate the effort it took to get the building built, but at the same time recognizes that it was built at a different time, using different labour laws and taking advantage of a native family. The free tour is worth every moment. The gift shop is also well priced and has some good food offerings. Learn some history, learn about democracy, enjoy the grounds and restaurant!Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denis RAncaster, Canada28 contributionsThere is ample parking at Craigdarroch Castle, and it's free. The house is enormous, very nicely restored, and the rooms are presented with furniture that was likely used in that period. Great way to spend a few hours, not too far from downtown Vancouver.Written May 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John MToronto, Canada92 contributionsBeautiful beach. Great to walk when the tides out. Eagle souring adds a great dimension to the environment. Be aware of the tide schedule as it is a large change.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kenna h2 contributionsLong Beach is famous for its long stretches of sandy beaches, dramatic shoreline, and powerful surf. It's a popular spot for surfing, beachcombing, and taking in beautiful sunsets. Visitors can stroll along the sandy shores, watch the crashing waves, and enjoy the coastal scenery.Written July 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tdsuperstarToronto, Canada18,825 contributionsFisherman’s Wharf is just another great part of Victoria to check out. Lots of restaurants to choose from. I’d love to see the area on a weekend when there would be many more people and businesses open. It was a quiet Wednesday when I was at FW, we enjoyed the views and uniqueness of the area. I know we’ll be back!!Written March 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
