Choosing the correct weapon combinations in Vampire Survivors is essential for success, especially on more challenging maps. This is because certain weapons do not function well with others. For example, players typically will not want to get the Knife or Phieraggi after acquiring the Garlic. Long-range weapons can defeat enemies before they enter the Garlic radius, reducing the effectiveness. There are 46 standard weapons in Vampire Survivors and only five free slots after a character's starting armament. Players must choose wisely if they wish you survive for long.

There are 12 maps in Vampire Survivors, broken down into five normal maps, four challenged maps, and three secret maps. Players can also unlock two bonus maps not counted in the total amount. Each stage contains new enemies, bosses, and objectives. Obtaining certain weapon combinations will make it much easier to achieve these goals. When starting, players will mostly be at the mercy of RNG, but soon they will gain helpful abilities, such as Reroll. This is great when searching for an upgrade or new weapon. As players get deeper into the game, making specific builds becomes much more feasible.

10 Garlic & King Bible

Vampire Survivors Garlic King Bible

The combination of the Garlic and the King Bible is likely one of the first pairings players will discover. These two weapons have been around since the release of Vampire Survivors. The Garlic and King Bible are also unlocked early in Vampire Survivors and are great for defeating hordes of enemies before they can damage the survivor.

The Garlic creates a circular barrier around the character, dealing damage to foes who enter or remain in the area. The King Bible creates books that spin around players, dealing damage to enemies it touches. At first, the King Bible spawns only two books but can be upgraded to create practically a second barrier of books with the Garlic.

9 Song Of Mana & Knife

Vampire Survivors Song Of Mana Knife

The second weapon combination on the list is the Song of Mana and the Knife in Vampire Survivors. These pair well together because the first weapon attacks vertically, while the second hits foes in the direction the player is facing.

The Song of Mana is a powerful weapon for clearing waves of enemies at max due to the radius and frequency of the attacks on further upgrades. However, as enemies get stronger, the Sing of Mana cannot defeat targets alone, making the Knife a great option. At max level, this weapon continuously throws a wave of knives at enemies.

8 Celestial Dusting & Shadow Pinion

Vampire Survivors Celestial Dusting Shadow Pinion

The Celestial Dusting and Shadow Pinion are similar weapons in Vampire Survivors since they both can attack pursuing enemies. Paring them together is fantastic for dealing with bosses and other tough enemies with large health pools. This combination is not higher on the list because both weapons are obtained fairly late into the game. They also only attack enemies behind the survivor, meaning players will also need to focus on upgrading weapons to deal with foes in front.

7 Santa Water & Runetracer

Vampire Survivors Santa Water Runetracer

This weapon combination in Vampire Survivors may not initially be obvious to players, but they work well together. The Santa Water starts as one of the worst weapons in the game, but when it evolved into the La Borra, it becomes one of the best. La Borra creates damaging pools around the survivor in the center of the screen. The Runtracer is excellent because it passes through enemies and bounces off walls. This weakens foes before they ultimately are defeated upon taking damage from La Borra.

6 Vento Sacro & Knife

Vampire Survivors Vento Sacro Knife

The Vento Sacro and Knife combo allows players to walk from one end of the screen to the other. This is because both weapons shoot projectiles wherever the survivor is facing. The Vento Sacro hits incredibly fast but is rather weak, while the Knife starts with a low attack speed but has serious damage. When the Vento Sacro evolves into the Fuwalafuwaloo, it gains life steal, which is great for survivability. The Knife can evolve in Vampire Survivors into the Thousand Edge to continuously fire in the direction the character is facing.

5 Bloody Tear & Soul Eater

Vampire Survivors Bloody Tear Soul Eater

The Bloody Tear and Soul Eater are evolved weapons that heal the players in Vampire Survivors while also dealing tremendous damage. The first weapon can be obtained by evolving the Whip and Hallow Heart. This improved version of the Whip will heal eight health upon landing a critical hit. The Soul Eater is created by combining Garlic and Pummarola. Just like the Garlic, a barrier is placed around the survivor and will create hearts when an enemy is killed. The Bloody Tear will attack enemies in the Soul Eater radius, allowing players to heal from most damage.

4 Soul Eater & Unholy Vesper

Vampire Survivors Soul Eater Unholy Vesper

As mentioned, the Soul Eater is one of the best-evolved weapons in the Vampire Survivors. The Unholy Vesper is a combination of the King Bible and Spellbinder. The weapon creates a ring of symbols that rotate clockwise around the survivor. The Unholy Vesper will knock back any enemy not killed. Foes that can get through will be slowly dealt damage by the Soul Eater.

3 Mannajja & Holy Wand

Vampire Survivors Mannajja Holy Wand

The Mannajja and Holy Want are both excellent evolved weapons in Vampire Survivors. The first weapon is upgraded from the Song of Mana and the Skull O' Maniac. The Mannajja slows enemies inside its area of effect. The Holy Want evolves from the Magic Wand and the Empty Tome. This weapon shoots rapidly at nearby foes and is excellent for defeating targets weakened and slowed by the Mannajja.

2 Death Spiral & Phieraggi

Vampire Survivors Death Spiral Phieraggi

The combination of the Death Spiral and Phieraggi is insanely strong. Both weapons sweep around characters in Vampire Survivors. They can cover every angle and dispatch most enemies before they even reach players. The Death Spiral is upgraded from the Axe and Candelabra and is easy to create. The Phieraggi is slightly harder to get because players will need to upgrade both the Phiera Der Tuphello and Eight The Sparrow, then obtain the Tiragisu. This is one of the strongest weapon combinations in the game.

1 Bloody Tear & Crimson Shroud

Vampire Survivors Bloody Tear Crimson Shroud

Possibly the best weapon combination in Vampire Survivors is the Bloody Tear and Crimson Shroud. Both are fantastic on their own but can make players practically invisible when used together. As mentioned, the Bloody Tear deals tremendous damage and restores eight health upon landing a critical hit.

The Crimson Shroud limits how much damage the survivor can take and makes players invulnerable for a short time when they receive damage over this limit. The Crimson Shroud is the evolved version of Laurel, Metaglio Left, and Metaglio Right. While getting every weapon may be difficult, players will have a hard time finding a better combination in Vampire Survivors.
