Marilao town police chief Lt. Col. Bernardo Pagaduan said the body was identified as that of Juliana Marie Pansacula Billones, 20, a native of Valenzuela City, and a resident of Blk 9, Lot 4 San Marino Street, Villaroma Phase 2, in Barangay Saog, of the said town.

Pagaduan said on Friday, Aug.19, at around 11:30 p.m., the victim’s mother, Abigael Billones, reported that her daughter left their house on Thursday night, Aug. 18, after a heated argument and failed to return home.

On Saturday, Aug. 20, Marilao police received a telephone call from the police command center informing them of an unidentified floating cadaver in the MMOR.

Police said the clothes worn by the found body matched those that Juliana Marie was wearing when she left their house. The victim’s mother positively identified the cadaver as her daughter. The body of the victim bore no wounds or signs that she was tortured.

In an initial investigation conducted by the police, it was learned that the victim had a history of suicide attempts.

The Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) operatives have requested for an autopsy to determine the cause of death of the victim.
