Our tour guide Dwane was very knowledgeable and knew his history well. We were disappointed we didn’t get to see the room where they have the State of the Union address. Otherwise it was a great tour.

Our guide who meet us on the street was excellent. He was knowledgeable and easy to listen to.
The pickup place was easy for drop offs. . We had a bit of a struggle finding our guide. Perhaps in the meet and pickup directions you might give details of clothing or a sign and which side of the street.. We had to ask a policeman if he knew where the group might meet.
Lots of great formation was presented. He pointed out details that were unknown to us.
We would have loved more time to observe the statues and paintings in the Capitol Building.
The Library of Congress was awesome but a bit hurried. We were allowed to go back and wonder in this building.
We loved it all. The architecture is so amazing.

The tour guide never showed up. Several other people were waiting as well. Then Viator claimed the guide was there and we went to the wrong place. They are arguing about returning our fee - $380 for 4 people.

We already talked about it several times on the phone by emails our tour guides on time and before the time .what’s happened you didn’t show up and we have the list of all our guest who show up and we will contact them to prove you didn’t show up or calling us in matter fact you tolled us by email you want in the supreme courts and ask for VIATOR phone number after you said you called many time please accept our apology and please read the information and the policy the next time any other information please email us to

I have been on many tours and this was my least favorite. There was too many people to hear the guide and no instructions on where to go within the tour. The experience itself was great but I would rather just tour the places on my own. The guide was extremely friendly and professional but there was no organization.

Not worth the money. The tour was actually largely self guided and in the capitol you did the tour that they offer. You could have simply went and got tickets at the capitol, a lot cheaper and had the same or better experience. Also, no signage from tour guide, as Viator farms this out to a third party. Don’t’ waste your time.

The tour guides were very nice and knowledgable and provided history of the building. But the actual tour was conducted by capitol employees. We ended up leaving the group before starting the Library of Congress because I really had to go to the bathroom and they had moved on before we were ready to proceed. I also wanted to go to the gift shop but there wasn’t enough time with the tour.
In fairness to the guides the Capitol was packed! It had been closed to the public in the morning and there were tons of kids on 8th grade trips. So perhaps the experience would have been different. But even so I thought the price was pretty steep for what we got out of it.

the Us capitol tour it's very nice tour and can't be private tour sorry for any inconvenience. also, in the Us capitol a part of the tour has to be with government employee.
