Robert Daniels New York Times This simplistically dreary offering doesn’t crack a new code. Feb 17, 2023 Full Review Nuha Hassan Nuha Hassan Unlocked doesn’t bring any new ideas to the dangers of digital surveillance. Instead, the movie loses focus on the character’s journey and the narrative, which fails to mesh them all together at the end. Sep 8, 2023 Full Review Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim (Substack) With "Unlocked" and "Emergency Declaration" — another 2022 film where Im Si-wan played the maniacal villain — Im has proven himself as a talented actor who can convincingly play any role. Rated: 3/4 Jul 28, 2023 Full Review Jennifer Green Common Sense Media As Na-mi, Chun has to shoulder that suspense, and although her character outwits all the men in the movie, we aren't given a lot of detail about what makes her tick. Rated: 3/5 Feb 24, 2023 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A rather ominous film about the possible dangers if losing your smartphone. Rated: B- Feb 18, 2023 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) While this can serve as a cautionary tale about cyber security and the amount of access to your personal info a phone has, it’s most beneficial at establishing an immense creep factor from an ominous stranger. Fade A frustrating and idiotic plot. Bland and senseless characters. Do not leave your brain unlocked while watching this. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review Denny A The story not natural, not a good movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review Renaldo D Nothing innovative and boring Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review acsdoug D I thought it was a good movie most of the way through, but the cops get kind of dumb at the end and that let me down a bit. Good performances from Im Si-Wan and particularly Chun Woo;Hee though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Nimra M Unlocked (2023) should be nominated best show overall. Set in a small city in Korea, this thriller is about how Na-Mi experiences cyber-crime just for losing her phone on the bus, and how she gets exposed to all the people she loves because of this. Na-Mi's exposure really sets the scene and shows how many people really care about her after being hacked. However, there are some scenes in which there is a lot of blood which could trigger somebody. Despite this, Kim Tae-Joon did not waste a second to produce a great movie and it is a good way to waste 2 hours. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Desyane M The way it reveals the villain from the beginning is disappointing Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
