In the summer you can stay at most Unis and use there facilities.
Buses are on the front of campus or you can walk .buy the river is good to walk.
Saskatoon city is easy to find your way around.
Staff at the Uni are very helpful, and prices to stay included breakfast, large Verity .
Definitely worth staying cheaper than hotels or Airban b.

The Arboretum is just off campus near the corner of Preston Ave. N and College Drive. It has an incredible selection of trees, some of them quite rare. There are mature specimens of trees that you might be interested in planting. Others are too huge for the average yard but it's just as well to know that before planting. Everyone can enjoy this as a demonstration garden with a diverse group of trees, shrubs and plants.
Admission is free.

I attended the U of S for my degree and now one of my daughters is attending. The Campus is beautiful and lots of activities take place. I still attend the occasional lecture and enjoy doing so.

This is one of the few places I've ever attended that eats its young. If you are bright, energetic and academically inclined, this is not the place for you. They get the MA & PhD students to teach classes and pay them next to nothing. Of all the post doctoral fellows that have come to work at the University NOT A SINGLE ONE has stayed more than 30 months. If you are an arts and science student, be prepared to be underwhelmed. There is WAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION paid to building new buildings to bring business to the campus and too little time and attention paid to undergraduate student needs and wants. The new lower Place Riel is nice and it only took the university 20 years to give the students union permission to remodel. And finally, after 25 years of putting it's head in the sand and all but denying the dozens of women that have been assaulted over the years the admin under the out-going president (a lawyer and a QC!) finally thought they could do something by letting the students union and the administration send out email warnings. Think twice about this institution. Always travel with a buddy. Pay attention to tuition and undisclosed fees. If you do attend, do NOT let the tenured professors in any faculty bully or pressure you. Tell you parents what is going on if some is not right.

Tuition is over price and parking services are horrible there's no place to park and cost me hundreds to a thousand dollars in one year of parking tickets and money in the meters and it's hard to get a parking pass. Went here one year and I will not be attending again worst decision and waste of money!

The campus might be fairly attractive eventually but at the moment is undergoing a lot of construction and looks a mess. Diefenbaker's grave site is impossible to find during winter months and isn't well tended or given the place of honor it should have. Diefenbaker was a great man and his final resting place should be treated better than what Sask U is giving.

Nice old buildings, but parking is horrible, even by university standards. No good food option on campus. Biased, as an alumnus, as the academic portion of the school, library, and profs all kind of suck.

let me put it this way... I used to live in Boston and visited Harvard. What can I say about this campus?

It's clean... the bowl is a nice green area to lay down when it's sunny + hot.

That's as far as I can go.

It's a gorgeous campus; lots of green space. Reasonable food in Place Riel. HORRIBLE payroll and care for its students and employees. They have had labour board complaints against them and still manage to withhold pay and not care about the livelihood of their employees. If you're not a professor, be prepared to be treated badly.

I cannot imagine a more attractive campus in Canada. The grounds and facades of the buildings create a park like atmosphere.
