Founded in 1967, although plans of its establishment were designed a decade ago, the University of Ulm is found within the South German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is a public research-led university and is one of the youngest universities within Germany as a whole. The university majorly focuses on medicine, engineering, economics, computers, and natural sciences.

The university is home to about 10,284 students and comprises of four faculties, viz., Faculty of Medicine (which is inclusive of a university hospital), Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science and Psychology, Faculty of Mathematics and Economics, and Faculty of Natural Sciences. The university has further defined its research concentrations to be within the areas of Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Nanomaterials and Biomaterials, and Financial Services.

The campus of the university comprises of many open research centers, industrial research centers, and development research centers. The university features a peaceful learning environment and provides all the required facilities required by the scholars. The infrastructure of the university is extremely well-maintained and in an organized manner. Moreover, continuing academic education offers qualifications for working professionals. Modularized master’s programs teach specialized skills also as management skills, research expertise, and leadership skills

In addition, Ulm University cooperates with about 200 universities in 50 countries in various exchange programs. The university offers 23 undergraduate, 38 postgraduate, and a Ph.D. program.
