The admission process for the RN to BSN online is streamlined to help you get started quickly and easily. Please read the requirements, including what additional materials you need and where you should send them.

Admission Requirements:

  • RN license or scheduled for NCLEX
  • Transcripts from prior institutions
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

  • Complete an application online and pay a $60 nonrefundable application fee
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA on all previous undergraduate coursework
    • Students with a GPA between 2.0 and 2.5 may apply; please speak with an Enrollment Specialist on submitting a petition.
  • Transcripts from all previous colleges/universities attended
  • One of the following:
    • Current unencumbered RN license issued in the U.S.
    • Completed degree in nursing and waiting to sit for the NCLEX exam. Proof of passing NCLEX must be provided by the end of the first semester.

A BSN degree requires 120 credit hours, consisting of the following:

  • 33 proficiency credits for prior nursing education
  • 57 general education credits, taken as co-requisites or transferred in
