Every year, Sapienza University welcomes thousands of foreign students, who come to Rome to study or pursue research on international mobility programmes, or to enrol in our degree programmes.

Sapienza University is a member of the Erasmus+ Programme, has undersigned bilateral agreements with many prestigious foreign universities, and participates in a wide range of mobility programmes that allow students from around the world to complete part of their university studies or experience a traineeship period in Rome. 

Sapienza also pursues partnerships with European and non-European universities to promote the mobility of foreign professors, researchers and technical-administrative staff, as well as promoting and participating in a series of EU programmes and activities to promote development cooperation.

Double, Multiple and Joint Degrees

Thanks to double, multiple and joint degrees agreements students from EU and non-Eu countries can join a study path that allows participating students to complete part of their university career abroad and obtain a degree recognised in two or more countries.

Bilateral agreements for student mobility (non-EU) 

Thanks to bilateral agreements, students from NON-EU countries can participate for free in a mobility exchange period at Sapienza (from a minimum of 90 days to a maximum of 2 consecutive semesters).
