Was extremely reluctant to go because We have been to the one in Orlando and it is a hot mess. Lots of people long lines , barely could get on any rides or see any shows. We basically hated it .

We gave the kids a choice while we were in LA Disney or universal . Universal won . We went mid week and bought the express passes and boy was it worth it. We were able to go on every ride and see every show. We had the best day ever. Plus it is an active live set versus the one in Orlando. So you got to see family feud being taped, the voice, some Jurassic Park props. My kids had the best day.

For me its better than Disneyland!!! I have to say, I enjoy California park adventures too but theres more awesome rides at Universal. Its a bit busy though when we.went but its.worth the wait in the cues. Especially the Harry Potter quiditch ride and the transformers. Kids love it too my one year old and four years old. Its good to go early too so you can avoid the long lines and prioritise the ones you really want to go.

All six in our family enjoyed visiting Universal Studios. The Harry Potter ride was everyone's favorite. Definitely worth any long lines to see. Have a Butter Beer at the Harry Potter exhibit. Delicious! I would advise going to the lower level rides immediately upon entering in the morning. I think most people do the upper-level rides first and by afternoon the lower-level attractions have very long lines. We were only able to ride the Jurassic Park ride and had to skip the Transformers and Mummy attractions due to the lines being way too long. We really enjoyed the Jurassic ride though. We enjoyed the studio tour and the special effects show. I'd skip the Walking Dead exhibit and the new Kung Fu Panda exhibit (unless you have very young kids). Both were boring.
