Welcome to the official X-Men subreddit. The home of all things X-Men on reddit, be it comic books, film, television, gaming or any other medium that Marvel's mutants have inspired people over the last half-century.
What the hell happened between 2019 uncanny xmen ending and the krakoa era
The last i thing i know is the x-men are back from dead. Then next issue.. BOOM! its a new world. Anyone know?
Basically what you said is what happened. There are no issues that take place between that you are missing.
Im anxious to know what happen. How did xavier standing again? Who found krakoa? How does the world react?
House of x and powers of x explai s it all. Except his standing. That's covered when he gets X body awhile back.
Xavier's revival and walking was shown in Astonishing Xmen prior to HoX/PoX
HoX/PoX explains the founding of Krakoa as well as the world's reaction. Both are expanded as the Krakoa era progresses
Don't over think it
Marvel Editorial is that you?
All told in House of X/Powers of X
Krakoa has been a thing since the early days of the X-Men.
What you see in HoX/PoX and Inferno is what you get and Jordan D White (main X-Office editor for the Krakoa era) has stated there’s no intention by the X-Office to fill in the six month gap between the end of Rosenberg’s Uncanny and HoX/PoX. The flashbacks are all you need to know in terms of the story.
It's never fully explained or revealed, no. Most likely Xavier just approached the X-Men and Magneto his allies and both proposed this plan and then everything just came together.
No, we know from HoX/PoX and Inferno that Xavier, Moira, and Magneto have been working on Krakoa in some capacity in the background for years
Are this referred in other comics, or everyone in the world just suddenly know they have an island for themself?
It just kind of happens. Hickman wasn't interested in the how so much as the now. It was just suddenly the status quo. We're meant to assume a lot of groundwork went into building it and organizing it, but we aren't shown any of it.
There are some flashbacks in HoX/PoX to the founding of Krakoa but as others have said it largely starts in media res.
It also gets shown in Inferno
Inferno has some additional flashbacks too but there is not a story detailing everything which I think is what you want
“While you slept, the world changed.” Xavier walks out of Astonishing X-Men and gets busy. Everyone else strikes a cool Salvador Larroca pose at the end of Uncanny, and then presumably gets the call from Xavier that it’s time for something big. HoXPoX fills in any of the details that actually matter.
Nothing. HoX/PoX is the start of that story. There's no build up.
I’m sorry you’re being downvoted. It’s a legit ass question since it went from A-M overnight. We get glimpses here and there, but a clear explanation? Nopeee
Xavier showed up and said "I have a cool new thing to show you" and everyone packed their bags.
Where can i read it? Title and chapter?
You want to read a story of the X-Men packing suitcases?
Depends... are they mutant suitcases? Did Forge design the suitcases? Was any suitcase a Weapon X escapee? A clone? Alien? Cyborg? Son/daughter of a suitcase from the future where the X-Suitcases were wiped out by Hardcase and the Harriers?
That's what everyone is telling you. You can't. It doesn't exist. It happened off-panel between the end of Uncanny and the start of HoX/PoX.
I read that issue when that era is wrapping up and ending, and the next final page, BOOM, look out for the new Krakoa era coming next!
The guys before Krakoa knew what they were doing wouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of things so they went crazy. Started throwing their toys all over the place
Laser vision for Cyclops, yay!
OKAY SO: the whole Nate Grey rewriting reality thing ends with him and Magneto stepping into a pocket dimension and going "Let's try this again" and then we get Krakoa. One way to undo Krakoa would have been for them to say Nate snapped his fingers and created the whole thing then got bored and it fell apart, no?
No.
